Für mich ist extrem praktisch, dass Bildbeschreibungen so stark verbreitet sind und bei Suchanfragen mit einbezogen werden. So finde ich auch rein bildbasierte Shitposts von vor 2 Jahren wieder!

@dansup please reconsider the Google/Apple sign-in. It results in a vendor lock-in and gives these companies the power over the user's account. The consequence is that users lose all access when Big Corp (or their jurisdiction) arbitrarily decides to lock their account. There are countless examples of Google, Apple, and the Trump administration doing this and effectively locking people out of their digital lives.

@andrmr@mastodon.social wundert mich überhaupt nicht. Von den anderen Anbietern gibt es ja wenig offene Schnittstellen oder Daten. Ich hätte allerdings vom Hersteller erwartet, dass offizielle Hausnummerndaten eingebunden werden. Zumindest in der Suche und als Layer.

Ihr habt sowohl Bilder der BYD-Fabrik (natürlich mit Roboterarmen und ohne humanoide Roboter) als auch Bilder von humanoiden Robotern. Das Bild kommt im Beitrag gar nicht vor, welche Relevanz hat es also als Vorschaubild?
Der winzige Zusatz "Bild: KI-generiert" ist abgeschnitten.

To be clear, Bose never (publicly) claimed this themselves. The misinfo was spread by news outlets and journalists who apparently can't read. Bose merely published API docs and called this "Open-source options for the community":
