@lrhodes @tante I also get the feeling a lot of that is from burn out - especially of critical pieces of software - where the maintainer has worked on the codebase thanklessly by themselves for 20 years and kinda wants to take a step back but there's no-one to pass the torch to, and so they look to LLMs to do the work while they rubber stamp the releases.
