Slowcooker ?
So many times I have seen slowcookers being used in TV-series . ( Mainly #kdrama )
But never came close to one in real life. Nobody around us uses or used one ever.
We are not new to slowcooking on gas or electric.
Either classic goulash -types or curry dishes.
But the thought of using one is appealing.
Anybody ?

Just today. A young man in his 20' s entering with a special ticket to enter our local public cultural spot for free. *) Ticket supplied through an agency dedicated to help people on the run for leaders in their home-country. In this case Mr. P. There is some history in our area with the regions there. Also colleagues with roots. Cheerful chat, he came on a bike , doing that every day in the region to explore.
Volunteering is nice.

I see this expression often, in Dutch and English.
"Bus" is a very common trope in Korean drama. Like " Standing in shaky bus, protecting person travelling with from being squeezed¨, "Missing bus, running after it for 3 blocks" . It will stop or not. ¨Waking up just when bus departs from supposed stop¨. ¨Chaebol women/man has to use bus instead of limo-with-driver¨.
But people being thrown under Korean bus I haven´t seen yet.
Not a #kdrama - trope.

They both touch a very essential thing in my opinion, although they are not the only ones in Kdrama.

@annecavicchi@mindly.social Haha. The region where we live , north of Amsterdam all the way up to the islands above, part of them German, is favourite for migrating birds. Many wetlands. Our city 20 km is super-favourite for Canadian goose: They will block the busiest traffic-crossings for weeks. Sometimes they are taken in by masses, flown to Canada by plane. We never hear about them being aggressive. They just walk there like tourists do.

Working in a mixed pensioned vounteer-team as volunteer helps a lot to keep things sharp too.

Originating from all parts of the world, still having vivid ties with folks there. But the lower ranks in society perhaps never knew what happened. Water was streaming down-hilll anyway, birds laying their eggs. Men farming, hunting, women taking care about the house and fermenting. At the end of the Roman Empire and later, genes from N and S European tribes mixed well. Dark Ages ? At night, yes 🙂
