I've uploaded a couple of single tracks from the 3rd W3dn35day livestream I did a few weeks back, ready for some promo around Agatewards.
At about 2:10 into Old Roä, Youtube decides to have a crack at auto captioning some of the Lincolnshire dialect.
Seriously thinking about using them as surreal lyrics at some point...
Here early, but we bagged one of the seats on the steps. Most civilised. My back will thank me for that later.

Parcel wasn’t attempted to be delivered & then all my attempts to actually talk to someone about it through DPD support channels was an object lesson in enshittifacation.

And it's come on quite a bit since I last spent any serious time there - so much so that I'm making it my primary release store alongside Bandcamp.

Oops, I did it again.
I seem to have prepped another old song to play live, less than two weeks before my livestreamed gig. The song is all done, just need to add the video (Aha! So the song has a video....)
And it's not the one I was planning to do.
Could there be *two* songs int he set being played live for the first time....?

Not the best start to the Bank Holiday Weekend. Man-flu kicked in on Friday (went to bed at 5:15pm!!), so yesterday was a write off.
Today is a little better, but I've a head full of cotton wool and tinnitus, and weirdly someone seems to have nudged my internal stereo balance setting a little to the right. 🫤
So much for my plans of working the new live set for #NHAM live on the 21st - hoping tomorrow's head will be a little bit clearer.
So, today is going to be an arty day. I can pop a record or two on the turntable and do some Gelli-plate printing, I'm aiming to do a limited print to go with a small number of my upcoming CD.

That said, I think that Ableton is quite forgiving of just jumping in and having a faff.
Because it's so 'modular' you can pick an area, watch a video and spend some time just exploring - and often get results.
I've often done this with just the laptop sat on the coffee table with my headphones in and no controllers etc. The new(ish) generative tools encourage this too.
I'd recommend dipping into some Ned Rush videos on YouTube - he's often just clicking/creating/exploring.

While I’ve just done a traditional set of songs, my plan for NHAM is to write something new. More freeform/semi improv.
