What I did not account for is most people could do it, but didn't want to. The thing vibe coding is missing is the same thing the 4GL and GUI revolution missed. @hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange My first thought is, I have a kid on the spectrum who finds direct eye contact painful , but if they were able to do this with a male colleague that is probably not it. Next, I did work with someone from another country who became engaged and (believe it or not) his religion prohibited him from gazing at women for something like 30 days before the wedding. One of my coworkers asked him about it and he seemed embarassed explaining it. Gotta go with your gut tho.

@byteback@mastodon.social I am reading the posts and it seems some people are taking exception to donations they have accepted in the past, which it seems they have been public about. A donation from Mullvad seems to have triggered it. They pointed out they accepted the donation 1. Before everyone discovered Mullvad donated to right wing causes, and 2. All donations are accepted with no strings attached, and they show no favor to any donor. I use GrapheneOS and have been very happy with it.

In my lifetime I have seen doctors go from being revered like gods to being rated on Yelp! . . . and i think it is a good thing. In the U.S. we still have quacks like Dr. Oz who mesmerize the feeble-minded, but I think many more people question, seek second opinions, and look at real clinical data. Cheers.

More importantly, whatever the reason for this behaviour you determined this candidate did not demonstrate that they would be be a successful consultant. You actually did them a favor by not putting them in a position where they would most cerrtainly fail. Also, they did you a favor by demonstrating an attribute that was disqualifying for the role.

Everything they do is about harvesting your data and selling it to anyone anywhere with no compunction. So yeah, no Chrome on a personal device, but you have to consider any device using G-anything is compromised. Why a business would trust them with anything is beyond me. 🤦
