Tra la! It's May! The lusty month of May! That lovely month when everything goes blissfully astray.

Tra la! It's here! That shocking time of year
When tons of wicked little thoughts merrily appear!

I've bought these "mindmapping" apps over the years and after using these various pieces of software I always come to the same conclusion: just typing my thoughts in a markdown document using vim is the best way for me to map my mind.

Someone might have said "Howdy, handsome" to the Immigration Checkpoint Officer last night. To be fair, he did have a mustache and the grin afterwards was worth it.

At the request of work, I’ve been reposting the company posts on my LinkedIn profile. Since then, the number of text messages from”the CEO” has increased from never before to at least a half dozen a day.

Tip? Don’t tie any phone numbers to your LinkedIn account.

Second tip? Avoid LinkedIn if you can. I know, easier said than done.

“Everybody Everybody” by Black Box is now playing in this Whataburger. I have loudly declared, “all hail Martha Wash”.

I’m of the generation of gays that still fiercely protect Ms Wash’s performance on Black Box, Seduction, and C+C Music Factory records.

The model in the Black Box videos can’t sing. At all.

We are moving from fast food attendants using vocal fry to ASMR whisper voices and I am not pleased.

Just use your damn regular voice. This is Whataburger, not a YouTube channel.

Welp, the used car dealer has determined it's going to cost too much for them to fix my 2015 Jeep Wrangler under warranty, so they're refunding us all the money and I no longer have a Jeep.

Yay?

As an individual with brain chemistry that runs into "decision fatigue" quickly, interacting with an LLM for an extended amount of time is bloody exhausting.

I’m back to giving Brave a try across my various platforms. So far it’s been a very good experience.

And in this world of LLM assisted coding, it's very clear that I'm a hand keyed SKU in a world of touchscreens and tip requests

I am switching back to the Catppuccin Mocha theme across as many apps as possible and it's making me much happier about tech in general.
