The neoliberal economists and commentocrats are raging since implementation. They claim it is unsustainable, somehow clientelist!, and unfair: the lame goto argument to block debate, appealing to emotion.
It has proven to be cheap to run, immensely popular and empowering for the elderly

Je vois les LFI parler et agir, ils ont l'air consistants,combatifs ont peu d'affaires qui trainent, donnent même de l'espoir aux gens. JLM👹 president: 150,000 soutiens en 24h! Mais il faudrait l'ostraciser comme le conseillent les grands médias? 🤔

Je sais par contre que chez LFI ils parlent résolument anti-racisme contre le colonialisme, et pour l'autodétermination des peuples. Ils ne sont pas parfaits, mais je n'ai jamais vu dans le programes, les actions ou les paroles quelquechose qui pointe vers l'antisémitisme. Ailleurs,(sauf RP) c'est de l'islamophobie et des racismes francs.

@Daojoan In youtube the passive income trip is alive and well. There are thousands of "Cash-cow" or "automation" channels.
I suspect 99% of them are $800 in the hole.
I did work producing animated kids slop for one, a few months' gig, the channel was making some views but not enough to break even.
YouTube is mostly an MLM: Them, then a few lucky people doing money by making relevant content with care, and a huge pyramid base of people pouring their own resources to make free stuff to fill YT.

Avoir un candidat à gauche qui a des chances de gagner me donne un peu d'espoir.

J'ai déjà vécu ceci: AMLO targué de "Danger pour le Mexique", s'est présenté 3 fois avant de remporter la presidentielle à la tête du mouvement qu'il a enfanté.
Ça s'est bien passé.Des millions de pauvres en moins, un peu l'espoir, et pas de dictateur

Je suis bi-national Mexicain, vu toutes les maneuvres contre un candidat carismatique de gauche qui sémerait la division. Prenez garde quand vos opinions sur les politiciens de gauche coincident avec Pascal Praud. AMLO fini par gagner, sorti 16 millions de de la pauvreté, Claudia le succede, le mouvement continue.

He spent years before that crisscrossing the country on available means of transportation, so he was used to sharing the discomfort. I thought it was great, and many people did. The crazy thing was the mainstream press losing their sh*t about it.They didn't spell it out but my interpretation is that they couldn't tolerate the borders of privilege being blurred. So yes, they should fly coach.

In Mexico MORENAs movement overtook 70 years of single party power in a few years, in France Macron (for the worst) built a winning movement from nowhere, JLM now has a chance at winning from a new left.

I got to vote as a immigrant in local elections here in Sweden, which is cool, but the emphasis on electoral and representative politics as the only true form of democracy feels odd.
Direct democracy, assemblies, reaching consensus instead of majority rule...

In Mexico we have a woman President, parity in congress, much less poor people...because we dared to dream. Direct democracy is in the works, we can revoke politicians mid term, all judges are now elected.
In France Mélenchon promises to end the 5th République if elected, flatten hierarchies.
I am in fact for sorting: a lottery would put regular people in power, renewed often.

I would say the problem is the way we allocate and concentrate power in very few hands, that under patriarchy will tend to be males. Only an exceptionally robust psyche can resist the ego boost of deciding over hundreds to millions if lives.
Making it personal won't solve our hierarchy problem.
Should we get rid if Trump tomorrow, the system and ideology that got him in power will put another version if him on top.
