Blows my mind that there is a culling going on in plain sight, and no one is perturbed. They're OK with it? Or they're in denial? Maybe they think they're invincible? I believe I have a diagnosis for my mom's AC. Corroded compressor terminals. One wire corroded completely off. Three-terminal device with only two terminals connected. There are all sorts of compressor repair kits on the market. Going to recommend this one and see whether Mom approves. Still cheaper than a service call. And you know if someone came out, they would tell her she needs a new system. There is no room to work on this thing.
