Be careful to my friends in DC. Looks like this racist nationalist group of cowardly assholes are going around the capital.

@stux@mstdn.social ah! I remember leet now! Forgot about that and definitely didn’t remember the number version. Thanks!
Epic hike day 1! Lewes to Alfriston, England.

Can anyone explain to me how we went form the more squareish TV ratio to wide screen ratios and now back to TV ratios BUT BIGGER and now we are angry we don’t get to see the TV ratio?
Not a great photo, but it was good to be back on the road!
Walked to Sherwood Gardens!
From a sustainability point of view, I'm okay with the death of plastic physical games, BUT licensing rights HAS to be modernized to match!
Digital needs some kind of key that keeps physical's "I own a licensed copy of the copyrighted work" that can't be revoked!

@Natasha_Jay oh, but they’ll get their money in pumps, special clothes, helmets, special tools, tubes - you can’t trick ME HCB!!!! I know your addictive game!!!!
A chilly morning! One of the last ones, definitely took advantage for a great morning run.
Lovely morning run.

@juergen_hubert 100%! Science, accessibility, cobbling disparate data, definitely some good use cases, but absolutely… we’ll need to wait for the crash as everyone seeks hyper capitalism first.
Gorgeous morning run!!!
"ToyAgumon"? I'm fighting a Lego Digimon lol

Do it for him.
Go on.
Do it!
You know you want to.
He didn’t die in vain!

Look. I know percents can get confusing at times. When in doubt, think in pizzas.
If I ate 83% of my pizza, I’d have a little left!
If I said I ate 600% of my pizza, I shouldn’t run the government.

@kibcol1049 Cake!
This reminds me of the Identity Problem in philosophy. If you were “born on this day”, it wouldn’t actually be you.
So, instead, think of it as a cake to celebrate the person who never was.

The winter gods blessed me with a chilly gorgeous run!
Whoa!!! Check this out, the artist from Vanillaware just made a TTRPG game. 300 illustrations, no AI, and it plays like a table top D&D type game, book & character sheet on the screen and all

@annaleen I've always felt like the quoted post should go above the commentary post.
It's subtle, but I think it changes the dynamic.
This game is from 2002 hitting a little TOO close to home.

@stux@mstdn.social holy shit Stux, that game looks amazing! I don’t play metroidvanias, but my partner is a massive fan. Sending it along to them!
From a sustainability point of view, don’t really care about plastic physicals, but the artwork is looking really wonderful! Congrats & good luck!!!
The most serious games.
Not committing to a game yet, experimenting with the backlog. Gave Digimon Story: Time Stranger a go! My first Digimon… anything! Not too shabby a start!
And with that, my 13 game Trails journey comes to an end (until they eventually release the next one). What a journey!

@stux@mstdn.social I don't know. There are a lot of idiots who are scientists, teachers, etc, too.
But maybe the concept of "career politician" should be abolished?
Last night I finished Monochrome Mobius: Rights & Wrongs Forgotten & had a surprisingly really fun time given all the tepid reviews & various comments I’ve seen for it. Trails fans should consider it! Here’s my review, enjoy!

Trying out some Fire Emblem: Three Houses!
After vacay, I’m about 25+ hours in on Monochrome Mobius: Rights & Wrongs Forgotten and having a blast!! Heard it’s on a huge sale this week, so if you’ve been on the fence, give it a go!
Monochrome Mobius: Rights & Wrongs Forgotten — FINISHED!!! Super fun! Really enjoyed that. Can’t wait for the sequel later this month!!

@hectique Daybreak 1 is my favorite game of all time!!! have fun!!!
Oh, and on Monochrome, it’s technically a spinoff of the Utawarerumono visual novel series - I’m playing Prelude of the Fallen there.
About Ys, have you played Celceta yet? https://www.worldofys.com/celceta/
Bouncing back & forth between Monochrome Mobius: Rights & Wrongs Forgotten and Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen — madness, I know!

@hectique I’d say it’s akin to Trails. Dialogue heavy, some slower bits, turn-based, lots of good side quests that feel like Trails.
I’d say the combat, feels more sim to Dragon Quest 11 but with elements to speed up turns.
I’m really enjoying it! Pacing can be a little off sometimes and it’s got some Utawarerumono quirkiness too it, so I’m just rolling with it!
