@futurebird@sauropods.win I'm fascinated when someone who works for a targeted ad platform enthusiastically insists that people want to see ads related to their interests. In the few states that ban roadside billboards, these would be people demanding to see multiple large signs about what's ahead. (Spoiler: They don't. Banning billboards has proved wildly popular in Vermont every time it's polled.)

Wouldnt ultimate hack against ICE just be wearing their own uniforms or everyone wearing mask and same outfit?

@lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social after the dark lord was overthrown, it became less of a big deal. Now, it's paved, well-lit with signs directing you to the Gollum Leap photo spot. You can get a One Ring or a lembas sandwich at the gift shop. It's great with the kids.

@mistersql@mastodon.social @b0rk@social.jvns.ca I got the mixed feelings. I just used Kiro Dev to build a PlayWright test suite for a new feature, but it didn't go completely smooth. The tests didn't run clean at first. And after they did run clean, they still didn't completely test the cases--some tests passed that should have failed. I still think it net saved me time over starting from scratch myself, but that is not always the case using AI.

@girlonthenet@mastodon.social I tried an automatic soap dispenser for the same purpose. It worked, but... it was noisy. I knocked it over in the dark. I had to keep waving my hand under it to get more. The batteries went dead at the least convenient time. A good pump bottle is quiet, reliable, and dispenses as fast as you want. Just right.
