I think QMPlay2 is not being praised enough. Audio, video, radio, subtitles, YT, lyrics, EQ... its got it all! Might be a perfect player tbh.

I've been thinking for some time now about buying a longboard. I have always loved riding a skateboard, but was never into tricks. Just the feeling was enough for me.

I lucked out today and bought myself a newer ThinkPad than the one I've had, for real cheap. It came with a slow as heck HDD, on which I tried to install fresh Tumbleweed. Didn't work, slow shit is slow. Took out the SSD from x230, put it in a E555... WORKS 🤯 No extra steps. Also transferred 2x8gb RAM I've had. All my data and software is still there. This is magic. Love it!

Paged Out! is a free, experimental (one article == one page) technical magazine about #programming (especially programming tricks!), #hacking, #security hacking, #retro computers, modern #computers, #electronics, #demoscene and other similar topics.
It's made by the community for the community - the project was created by @gynvael@infosec.exchange Coldwind with multiple folks helping. And it's not-for-profit (though it is managed by a company – see the bottom of this page) - this means that the issues will always be free to download, share and print.

Your first problem is using Alexa. As for the tablets, assuming they're Android based, i'd recommend trying blokada(5, not the newer ones) - https://blokada.org/#download

I don't wanna sound too hardcore, but it's either convenience, or privacy of your family. I'm also trying to protect my partner from spying eyes, and it's always a compromise. I hope you find another way to solve this.
