Last night I deployed a new #NixOS config which declaratively specifies all Syncthing folder relationships across all systems in my fleet. The syntax remains peculiar but Nix is the most fun I’ve had experimenting with computers since the 90s.
For #BlackMetalMonday here is, of course, SIGH. I’m going to see them live for the first time this Friday. Never thought that would happen. So very psyched! 🤘

@yiningkarlli@mastodon.gamedev.place We also live close to a hospital with a helipad. I admittedly can get a bit annoyed by outside noises like loud cars. But whenever we hear a helicopter fly over to get there fast I just feel a blip of empathy.
Hah. Just roll down the window shades to block out the bothersome ambient light coming from PLANET EARTH. Not something I've ever heard said before.

@Noortjevee What I like about these games is they get the sense of scale right. Everything, including the marine dudes themselves, is huge. It makes the games visually distinctive.
