my homepage turned 2 years old this month ^-^ i wrote about recent homepage/computer housekeeping i've been doing like bringing the time machine snapshots up to date along with some other thoughts. other than that, it's been a fairly offline summer for me (intentionally.) blog post: https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#midsummer-check-in
cyberdeck update/upgrade ^-^ started messing around with this again since i've been too depressed to be online. i wrote a new blog post about this, some linux things, and other end of the year life stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read it here: https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#meet-me-at-the-apt
added a little sign on my homepage with tips for personal site making ^-^
sometimes i get emails asking for advice on how to approach starting a homepage so i thought i'd write it on my page. i point to some more technical resources in my blog post about this: https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#personal-homepage-tips
i finally got around to making a 404 error for my homepage. i thought it would be fun to do some top down sprite art and it turned into this mini game. u can use the onscreen buttons or keyboard arrows to find your way back to my home ^-^ just type in a non-existent url on ellesho.me/page to visit
u can read my thought process about it on my blog here: https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#escapism
new blog entry update: crying, screaming, throwing up over the jdrama series i'm watching, some reminiscing about the past, and adding a boba recipe to my personal homepage to make it more personal ^-^ https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#sentimental
wrote about busy life, the vibe war, homeserver/homepage updates, and a couple of movies i've watched recently in my new blog post today: https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#one-battle-after-another

just added some new stuff to my cli homepage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and wrote some stuff on my blog https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#reality-os
i wrote a little bit about winter and the end of the year and life in my blog this week. i also finally added a blog archive list to navigate all my blog entries easier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read about it here: https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#tally-marks

@netopwibby@social.coop i don't need to be buff, just fit enough outrun the fascist secret police and survive in a technodystopia (￢_￢;)

@netopwibby@social.coop wow! science saru is doing it ^-^ they tend to stay very close to the style of the source material. it'll be fun to see the more cartoony elements from shirow's work but i hope it's a new story and not just the puppeteer again (⌒_⌒;)

@netopwibby@social.coop i think i like it better than the original continuity. i accidentally watched the first half of sac2045 season 1 first bc i thought it was a totally new thing but realized it wasn't and there was a whole bunch of backstory i missed so now i'm making my way through the previous stuff before i can continue 2045 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Replying to
@netopwibby@social.coop thanks! i had to edit that line a little bit and take out the "start" since this is not really something new that just "started" recently (￢_￢;) it's part of a long history but maybe more unmasked now

@mishaderidder@mastodon.online thanks!
nice to see u blogging! i'll add u to my reader app. long live rss ^-^

@netopwibby@social.coop thanks! just preparing for the future where all the browser companies pull a browser company and pivot to just making chatbot frontends and we won't have browsers anymore (￢_￢;)
i have lots of ideas to push the idea some more (like maybe full archive access) but have to find the time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
and yeah, i guess some ppl's way of coping with the times is constantly being immersed in it but all that stuff just affects me too much and paralyzes me

@bradbarrish@mastodon.social thank u ^-^ that's how i had to frame it in my mind with my amateur medical research to understand how to fix myself (⌒_⌒;)

@netopwibby@social.coop nice! doesn't the turing pi already have 4 nvme slots in it?
i think the only other hardware addition i might want to add to my pi rn is a poe+ hat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but i'll probably have to modify the case i'm currently using to fit it in. depends on when the official pi 5 one comes out and what form factor it takes

@anji@metalhead.club thanks! here's what it looked like in its previous iteration ^-^ https://mastodon.social/@e11e/115425817323648463

@netopwibby@social.coop yeah the 3d animation looks stiff and cheap a lot of the times. sometimes it looks okay. i think the pacing of the story is a bit better than the earlier stuff though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Replying to
@wezm@mastodon.decentralised.social btw i enjoyed looking around your site, especially the retro page! i added u to my links page ^-^
Replying to
@netopwibby@social.coop oh do u have an older version? i only know the tp 2.5 has 4 nvme slots on the bottom side (top is the cm4 slots) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
