Min favvo-etymologi är möjligen att ur- i uroxe INTE betyder ursprunglig/första/gammal. Det är en rest av det äldre namnet på djuret som stavades "Uhrar" i en text från 1671. plus oxe. Tydligen samma historik och utveckling av ordet i engelskan (som landat i stavningen "aurochs")

@MAKS23@mastodon.social The Ukrainian military claims to have destroyed over 440 000 Russian drones. over 250 per day since the full scale invasion if my maths is right. and it didn't start out being a drone war, so it has certainly escalated. 1792 Russian drones downed just yesterday. Insane. Also: I hope South Korea is getting knowledge about all this. They are very much an exposed possible front line.

Yes, start with stopping the most polluting fuels, but if you don't actually need to burn something: don't. Fireworks, bonfires, campfires, bbq etc. We are in a crisis. And no, switching to "biofuels" isn't enough. The big step that should have been done 3-4 decades ago, but hasn't happened due to power politics & corruption: Ban all subsidies and tax breaks to the fossil fuel industry.
