Just watched an Instagram video of something way outside my experience. ... It costs Nurses £143.00 a year to be on the NMC register so they can be a nurse... that seems ridiculous ... It costs them to train .... so they start their career in debt.... I appreciate Dr's.. Legal etc all end up with Student loan debts... which I think is nuts but at this end of the employment market... it's not right to penalise Nurses further I appreciate i have expressed this badly but it was an impulse posting when annoyed

At one time in my youth we as a country afforded visionary projects....ones that benefited us all What happened... now people cannot afford their own home. Very simplistic I know... but what happened and is still happening is that some people were allowed to get in the whole process and cream off the money. Covid: a goodly chunk of the money went to individuals.... money that should have been used for people. Water: the business suffers and is not self funding ... but those running the facility used by all profit as do shareholders... meanwhile shit is pumped into our waterways.. and they want funding from Gov Health: does anybody think middleman and Insurance should be in Care for the sick. Education: is a profit centre for loan HS2 never happened but lots of the funding went to the wealthy The list is endless... and the story is we cannot afford to do anything but make some individuals wealthy.

Burnham can probably save the money for the £2.00 bus trips by dumping the fucking stupid Palestine Action arrests by the Police and prosecution by the Courts. People of all persuasions should be allowed to peacefully protest... you don't need to label protest as a reason to arrest... Free Education for adults... University etc Youth clubs to give kids social skills etc Schools that taught woodwork.. metal work... art... music... domestic skill etc The list is endless Over time it all became unaffordable.... Why ? Read my own Gas Meter today and submitted the reading Apparently I owe £27.03.. the breakdown is : Gas used £16.72.... Standing charge.£9.02 .. Tax £1.29 As we get into the summer I will use the heating less so I expect to be paying more for fuck all than I do for Gas Doesn't seem right .. over a year I will be paying £108.24 for nothing.... but the shareholders are happy so that's ok

When I was a kid there was apparently 900 police stations and police foot patrols in cities... now there is probably less than 300... and no police on the high streets. Libraries closed... youth services closed... etc No one really is building council or social housing Nurses (just picking one group) pay for training.. we need nurses ... we restrict them amongst other and create a debt they carry with them for decades. Pension age gets raised etc . It wasn't always like this. Now apparently we cannot afford social services.... we talk about cutting benefit ....and because we are all hurting ... we want to spread the hurt and lash out at other and think those with nothing are scroungers Yet we still talk of UBI .... What changed We allowed the wealthy to syphon off public money.... that we collected in taxes and spent on the public And the wealthy spread the story that we cannot afford caring for the poorest of us and everything is unaffordable Just Tax the rich ffs

I was born into a council house, via the NHS, went to state school and onto 4 years of Free University... out to the big world earning enough to buy a house and afford life. And people lived longer and could retire on a decent state pension at an age that meant they could enjoy their senior days Just reading Anglelmaker by Nick Harkaway ... enjoying it... not far in is a line that resonated with me. The line is 'The onward march of progress has wandered off down a dark alley and been mugged.' Now I'm up to vote not to make my council better, I hope it does, but primarily to keep Reform out. Unless desperate, I wouldn't suggest ladies use a gents cubicle as in busy times with poor cleaning and used by drunk barbarians they stink and the floor is a mess Have a great day
