@dropbear@aus.social "what if your future husband wants children?"
As if it's not your decision to make, instead it's the decision of some bloke you haven't even met.

mastodon 4.7.2Mum to 4 adults. Owned by cats. I want leaders who have a vision of how Australia could become a fairer place for all.
I am no longer in the workforce, and spend most of my time watching my cats, watching cardmaking videos and attempting the easier techniques, playing computer games, and I enjoy reading others posts about politics, life, the universe and everything.
More of a lurker than a leader, but have had my moments of outspokenness.

@coolandnormal Yeah, they want people to "engage" with their "content".
It's a culture shock for them when they come here where people prefer to engage with other people.

@backupbear May your bare feet always find the scattered Lego when you get up in the middle of the night.

@aby They're just letting you know what a "great catch" you missed out - a man who doesn't listen to women.
If you changed to suit them, you could have a man who doesn't think your choices are important.
Why are you not swooning and instantly changing your life for them? :eyeroll:

@feather1952@aus.social That sounds like a good practice to follow.
I wish SAHT (South Australian Housing Trust) had the same practice for the tradies they use.

@wezm No, but I usually have this terrible ache in the calf muscles of my right leg.
I only wish it were my left leg, for the (misremembered) H2G2 reference.

@MsDropbear42 I wouldn't ask the garden fairies. That'll start a demarcation dispute between them and the house pixies. You'll just have to wait until the house pixies day-shift begins.
Oh, and I've heard the house pixies are wanting an upgrade to their remuneration. Saucers of milk are so last century, now they want *good* coffee. None of that stuff from the local servo, unless you want them to go on strike.
Guess I should join the #introduction #intro hashtag.
I have #cats. I like #cardmaking and watching cardmaking videos. I play several computer #games - not all of them online - rotating through several games as the mood takes me #gaming. I am interested in #auspol #politics #socialjustice #equality #equity. I vote #Greens but am not interested in ALP/Greens fights. I have a #trans adult son, and am fiercely supportive of him. I like watching #DoctorWho and #StarTrek. Lately I've been rewatching #TheGoodPlace. I'll be turning 60 later this month. My pronouns are she/her.

@troberts@theblower.au I wanted an all of the above option. (Except I no longer work, so option 3 for me would be AI slop on streaming services, in video games, in books, etc).
I opted for impact on creatives. High quality creative output enriches my life. If I could have had two choices, second (equal) choice would have been environmental impact.
You may be looking at this wordy answer and asking am I on the spectrum? I don't know, never been diagnosed, but it's a distinct possibility.
