I am not a fan of R U Ok day, mostly because in most companies it’s performative with nothing behind it. It also brings up the bad memories of my darling nephew who took his own life a few years ago at a young age. Mental health is another thing that we as a society choose not to prioritise. It shouldn’t be up to charities to provide support services, it should be the government but we, as a society, don’t seem to care enough to force them to do it : (

I know a lot of women of various ages who are on dating apps. Please take it from me, there are some photos most women just absolutely don’t want to see: 1) You holding dead fish. Wtf man 2) You posing with strippers / topless models 3) Your wedding photo from 25 years ago with your (former?) spouses face scribbled out A dodgy selfie is preferable to any of the above. I’d be intrigued to hear what the wtf photos women post on the apps are.
