Gardening book advice wanted 👩🌾 📚
I’m looking for a book which clearly (but not too simplistically) outlines what plants (think veggies and fruit) should be planted when and what should be planted together as companion plants. 🫛🌽
There’s probably a word which articulates that idea more succinctly but it’s the morning and I can’t think of it.
Out of print is ok, I don’t mind hunting for it if it’s a good one! 🔍

Another lovely day here so I put a new handle on an old kitchen knife. The plastic handle came off ages (I mean years!) ago, but now it has a nice oak handle.
Not perfect, but that’s ok. It just needed to be functional.
Today’s weather was just about perfect. I took my camera for a nice long walk.
Did I take any “good” photos?
No, not really. Just a lot of very unexceptional pictures of flowers and plants.

Yes I did!
Finished my little lap quilt for work.
It was double checking the orientation of each triangle that was taking such a long time, but I’m happy with the result and don’t mind a few mis-aligned pieces.
Edit: CW enthusiasts might appreciate this too.
Went to the seaside for a few days. It was lovely.
I miss Devon terribly.
And then I remember the lack of opportunities and it makes me sad. I always come away from there thinking about what I could do that would make a difference and I can’t think of anything meaningful.

Edit: having looked at the pictures I selected, I don’t think I’ve got a future with the tourist board!

I have a question about plug in solar panels 🙋♀️
Looking the ones available in Europe, the idea seems to be solar panels -> micro inverter-> plug into wall.
I feel like I’m missing something fundamental about household circuits. Why / how does plugging a power source into a normal plug socket work? And second question, would it work the same in the UK?

✅ delivered! (It hasn’t been)
How do you get into the situation where one ID can give five statuses? I mean I know how you could, but wow!

It’s the movement around a single large slide I’m after. Think of an A0 page which can then be moved around during the presentation instead of paging through slides. Linking separate slides into one as mentioned previously might work though if the transitions are smooth.
