I really hope people who decided to release strategic petroleum reserve know what they are doing. If I understand correctly those reserves are enough for roughly 3 months. What happens if strait of Hormuz remains closed for longer?

@tante@tldr.nettime.org It's not just based on hope, there is a lot of research going into making people dumb and brain control in general. I'm sure there are already more technological solutions to this problem, like neurolink and similar technologies.
IMHO the main idea here is that allowing people to run around without controlling their brains is very dangerous, who knows what they might think of.
