I took my proper camera (a Canon EOS 90D) up to the #allotment here is my favourite shot from the day, a little trio of blossom on my #Plum tree.

My optician asked me if I could see the sun, when I said yes, he said, " That's 97 million miles away, how far do you want to see?"
A cold windy day up at the main #allotment but we still got a lot of preparation done, and weeded the whole Fruit Zone.
After 4 hours in a biting wind, we returned home to a cup of hot Bovril.
#GYO #GrowYourOwn
Meanwhile, up at the 'big' #allotment, crocus are flowering,, while the daffodils and tulips are in the green.
And I've created a pond, since this photo was taken I've added an escape route for anyone falling in.
Plants will be added next week, when I hope to get it finished.

As far as the large lorry part goes, it doesn't mean your average articulated, but more specifically to very large, generally slow moving vehicles, for example cryogenic chambers, locomotives, and super yachts, etc

Seriously, it will only take 51% of the turnout (which could be quite low) for the Count to win, and frankly, if I lived in Clacton, I'd be a part of that majority.
Just think about the message that electing Count Binface M.P. would send, not just Farage, but to the entire nation.
As far as I can tell there will be only one serious contender for the #Clacton.#ByElection

As we decided last week, I'm not an economist.
That said, I was pretty sure our economy would suffer as a direct result of Brexit, which is why I voted to stay.
As an aside: my boss and I talked about how we'd be voting in that referendum, and he went the wrong way, the business Has never been as prosperous as it was prr-brexit
He was the turkey that voted for Christmas.

Call it a win.
If cats don't hate you you're ahead of the game.
It's #InvasiveSpecies day at the #allotment.
1st and more easily dealt with is the Spanish Bluebell, which I figure I can just dig up, and replace with the native variety.
2nd is Marsh Horsetail, this is a nasty piece of work, it is everywhere I look.
So, is there a way to eradicate it that is
A) inexpensive, and
B) doesn't involve fighting a battle that will last the rest of my life?

It's all garden, but...
A paved area might be called a patio, there may be a veg patch, or decking, all these are in the garden.
We only call it a yard if there is nowhere to grow plants in the ground.
Replying to
@TheZorse@hear-me.social
That's the garden too, however, if it's in purpose built beds contained within a yard, then you might say that was a flower garden, but equally you might say "I have a yard with raised beds for flowers"

Lovely warm day on the #alottment, didn't do as much as I wanted, but made visible progress, so calling it a win.

I've been looking into buying a new #SatNav.
Many of them offer live traffic, a vital feature for a truck driver, here though, is my problem, all those I have looked at so far, require a phone app, and a Bluetooth link to the phone to provide the traffic info. This requirement has recently been added to my current unit, which is why I started looking for a new one.
Until a few weeks ago, I got perfectly good routing around traffic hold ups without a phone connection... Not any more 🤬

True AI could be used in so many ways to make things better for everyone.
Instead a weak version is thrown into every software imaginable to generate woeful imagery, and poor articles.
So sad.
