Day 285 #365project Aled has given me whatever bug he had so I didn't get out much today. Managed to go out for a few minutes at dusk and this is the best I got today. Now for tea with honey and some rest. ☕ #Cymru #Wales #NorthWales #Porthmadog #stonecottage #cottagecore #moody #twilight #bluehour #welshcottage #charming #rustic #autumn #autumnal #autumncolours #fallfoliage #autumnvibes #fallvibes #window #Fenster #windows #fensterfreitag #atmospheric #photography #Fotografie #amateurphotography

Day 284 #365project I'm keeping with the #FotoVorschlag cloud theme and making it a triptych for today. I went out this morning with the dogs and didn't bring my camera and *of course* it was the Most Perfect Photo Day Ever™. I was kicking myself for the whole walk. So after we got home I ran back out with the camera and I got exceptionally lucky because the weather was still lovely (never a guarantee here), the sky still blue, the clouds still puffy, and a swan decided to pose just for me. 🦢 So even though I've been feeling pretty meh lately, I'm going to be grateful for this really beautiful, peaceful moment today. Also, I didn't even know what the prompt was for today until after I got home from the walk. So I'm feeling a little bit lucky, too. ✨ And we've just been to see a 4K restoration of The Omen on the big screen. So, basically, it was a good day. I hope everyone else had a good one, too. 😊 #Cymru #Wales #NorthWales #Porthmadog #swan #Schwan #lake #See #reflection #reflections #mirrorImage #scenicview #naturelovers #nature #Natur #landscape #Landschaft #naturephotography #landscapephotography #photography #Fotografie #amateurphotography

Day 282 #365project A wee bit later than usual today. Just got back from a double feature: Other Mommy (fast paced and fun but the book was better) and The Craft (classic 90s nonsense... "We are the weirdos, mister.") But just about managed to hop across the way from the cinema beforehand to squeeze in a couple of shots for today's 365 challenge. Edited in the car on the way home. Et voilà! #Cymru #Wales #NorthWales #Conwy #ConwyCastle #unesco #medieval #medievalarchitecture #gothic #gothicvibes #moody #history #townwalls #castle #castlewalls #birds #twilight #dusk #bluehour #goldenhour #travel #travelphotography #wanderlust #architecture #Architektur #photography #Fotografie #amateurphotography

RE: https://toot.wales/@alexisbushnell/117211807220016337 This now has almost 10,000 signatures from Wales, almost 0.3% of the population - a big deal! The more the merrier, anyone anywhere can sign. If you want to support trans people in Wales to be able to have transition surgeries, please give us a boost. #petition #Wales #Cymru #trans #TransRights #transgender

Hi #Wales , please sign this Senedd petition asking that they immediately unfreeze the pause on gender affirming care: https://petitions.senedd.wales/petitions/247110 This is super important, we need to show that there is enormous demand for them to do this so sign it, share it, stand over your friends to ensure they sign it. #TransRights #LGBTQ

🆕🧱🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 New location feature: Porth Wen Brickworks, Wales An abandoned Victorian firebrick factory on the picturesque coastline of Anglesey, Wales. These ruins stand at the edge of a secluded cove, the brick and stone structures slowly falling into the Irish Sea. Sea spray and weather relentlessly erode the remaining stone buildings. The short-lived Gorsedda slate quarry. Massively capitalised in the late 1850s as the Bangor and Portmadoc Slate and Slate Slab Company, it closed by 1870. It's nature was best summarised by the words: "Everything that could facilitate the works was produced, nothing being wanted but the slate vein. There was no quarry there." #photography #slate #cymru #wales #aerialphotography
