@johncarlosbaez@mathstodon.xyz That is insane. Like actually insane. I hope the papers are at least mirrored somewhere else. If Springer doesn't want them I know ones things for sure, the rest of the world does. Stupid company probably ran an LLM for unoriginal ideas or something.

@misty@digipres.club You're not a crank. I live in the US and I don't trust them. At several places I worked we used Hetzner and Local AI for that reason.

@derekheld@infosec.exchange I wonder what would happen if someone posted this speculative information on subreddits or places on the internet known to cater to people with heavy drug addictions. Just a weird hypothetical thought.

@dtl@8bitorbust.info They don't make instruments like they used too. I miss the half inch to 3/4inch steel black boxes, and the high quality steel gear trains. Taking a part old spectrometers is uh so satisfying. Thank you for sharing this. I'd love to see more beauty shots

@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place I wrote a MITM proxy for myself that literally removes Div's from HTML pages of stuff I just don't want to see. This is probably extreme and unusual behavior. I should probably polish that more.

@9to5linux@floss.social I've been around so long that I have learned to let everyone else install new nvidia drivers first. Namely people who are more thrill seeking than me. Good luck everyone and please let me know how it goes.
