A few years ago, I read an article by Dan John (https://web.archive.org/web/20130120173341/https://t-nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1749686) about the slosh pipe and immediately built one for myself. In my case, it is a plastic pipe sealed at both ends, capable of holding around 20 liters of water. I filled it with only 15 liters, which reduces the weight for Zercher walks, yet makes them anything but easier. It is a fantastic tool for working the core muscles.
Today I did some suitcase carries with 18kg hanging on a resistance band and offset carries with only 10 kg hanging on a band. I really like these exercises as well and highly recommend them.
