@TheBreadmonkey@beige.party The last two days being back to work have not been easy, 6 weeks off does that to a bod, the last two weeks have seen me out for a daily walk to not let health get any worse. Knew I needed to go for walk after work but DID NOT WANNA. But there was Ben in the back of my mind, going for a run when he also DID NOT WANNA. So I went, and looked out across the dried out farmland, and forgot the job just for a little while. So thank you!

Met some awesome women last year, one of whom said we need to be marching again, I think she's right and for a variety of causes. Still trying to shake off the years of being expected to be compliant, but getting there.

I have never been a big drinker, and I like to go out to listen to live music, this generally ends up at a pub. I also mostly go on my own. I feel bad if I can't contribute, so end up having something with way too much sugar and still looks vaguely like it has some alcohol in it. My main place still feels quite right wing, but have had some interesting conversations where I have managed to get someone to think about things a bit more, and they've appreciated it. Spaces where this can happen are important.

Looking for yarn shops that focus on sustainability or are owned by/support LGBTQIA+ or Black/Asian/Indian/Pakistani groups etc. in the UK? Searches under LGBTQ are mostly being up pre-made items. Been a while since I did one of these, but finally a "proper" walk, well almost a mile, but I'm 4 weeks post op, so I think that's good going. Made sure to take my stick so I didn't try to go too fast. Lovely temperature right now but my part of Kent is very blustery today! #MentalHealth #Walking

First day back at work after 6 weeks, and I can honestly say I have not missed it at all, definitely not anything Microsoft related, two reboots just to be able to work at all. Will kick off plan B, C or whatever version I'm currently on this weekend when I have a bit more energy. @JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I have no idea what is going on with all the new things yet, I still haven't finished Solstice on my main yet let alone have a clue on the seasons, fortunately the muscle memory is still there lol I have got as far as the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, but still not sure on vampire or werewolves. I attempted PvP on the NA server years ago, and then a couple of runs in Cyrodiil while trying to avoid everyone else 😆 I enjoy helping out on group content, but my hours are weird so it gets tricky.

It's official, after a 3 month gap from playing Elder Scrolls Online and instead playing Black Desert Online, ESO is still better for my stress levels/relaxing. Will definitely be going back to BDO, but the combat is much much more straightforward in ESO. The life skills part of BDO is great but could do with being slightly less comprehensive. I think if I could pick my favourite parts of each, it would be my perfect MMORPG #ESO #BDO #MMORPG

Following on from yesterday, I have been attempting to sort out my Aeonium arboreum ‘Zwartkop’, which is an almost black Aeonium when it's happy. The original plants were gifted by a friend of a friend a number of years ago and I have been bumbling along with them ever since. Biggest success was gifting one I had propagated to my sister last year. So today I have trimmed two 'crowns' in the hope that the plants will branch, one of which also needed serious repotting as there was no drainage in soil. I took a cutting from a very unhappy earlier propagation attempt, and then repotted the original in the hopes that may recover slightly. Looking forward to more consistent temperatures in the UK so I can pop them outside. #MentalHealth #Gardening #Houseplants

Although reassuringly I have a colleague who has to use Excel since they changed teams and they keep asking co-pilot how to do things, then when it can't solve it they come to me.

Who knew that post op recovery time would lead to working on more projects than I can possibly complete in the time I have! LOL Have just added repairing/modifying the sashiko cushion from a kit I bought at a craft fair at Alexandra Palace sometime early 2000's for my Mum, which I promptly received back once it was complete. I currently know nothing about quilting, patchwork or sashiko, and will be doing this without a sewing machine, but I don't want to lose the cushion cover, so this will be interesting. Add this on top of sketches I already have in progress, writing, a planned distro change on the laptop, crochet, and some polymer clay ideas floating around, I think I need at least 6 months. And that's ignoring how many other WIP's I have in progress. #Sashiko #Quilting #TeaRamblings

Trying to write a response on Mastodon with a 400 character limit, first draft was 1,051. This feels like being at school and asked to write a short story (i.e. 3-4 exercise book pages long), and I would barely have got started by page 4! Yay, 3am and the brain is all over the place. Just over a week before I'm due back to work, so that probably isn't helping. Too many plans, not enough time and not enough compos mentis to complete as many projects as I would have liked, also thought I could spend more time in my office, but physically not an option 😔

@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I think I was the same, went through the sewers, desperately trying to tackle a portal and whatever was spawning through it, no clue what I was doing and someone else happened along and took me out. My fully immersed brain was like "seriously, you really want to let ogrims and clanfear through here instead?" Had one occasion in Elsweyr, in the crafting area and my main just sat and listened to the khajiit who was singing, sat there long enough that people started to join me, that was a simple but really nice moment ☺️ Currently on PS, EU seems to be okay but quiet, NA is a whole other level of crazy, but if I ever pull a really early one I have a guild there I could be okay grouping with. I have thought about moving over to Steam, but I need to get the laptop stable on Linux first
