This Gousto box has got something to happen that hasn’t in years. I’ve been doing proper cooking on consecutive days, and I have a fridge stocked with leftovers to eat the next couple of days. I would say on that basis, probably worth the money. I’ve always kind of struggled with this sort of thing, at least for a while.
My first home in London had a huge kitchen which was very easy to make things in, but successive tiny flats have been harder and harder to do it.

It may be a Sunday night but I’ve cracked open a bottle of cider I’ve had in the fridge waiting for me all week. It’s M&S cider with blackberries and blackcurrants. Very nice.

The saga continues. They’re now asking why parents can’t view the documents. BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE PERMISSION TO VIEW WHAT’S IN YOUR ONEDRIVE, AS EXPLAINED EARLIER.

One of my favourite new toys in the new car is cruise control. It’s kinda fun just letting the computer do the engine work for a bit.

@autoperipatetikos@neurodifferent.me that’s ok, I know you have a lot of stuff going on. The cake was the highlight to be honest, but still, it’s another day survived. Hope you’re doing ok!

@MikeFromLFE@cupoftea.social Yes indeed, which is probably the reason for pragmatically saying that it wouldn’t apply to existing stuff, just potential new orders. Much easier doing the process the other way in the early 90s!

@gavin57@toot.wales I use Delete Apps from the App Store. It works well enough for what I need it to do usually. Anything it can’t delete itself, it gives you a direct link to it so you can do the deletion and it’ll confirm it once done

I have a funny feeling my manager is being lined up for a job with the wider group IT team.
Well, I’m fucked. I mean, he’s not always a good manager and most of the stuff gets dumped on me, but if he goes, it’s just me somehow having to deal with this shite alone and I have no interest in that.

In a way, I regret taking the old car to the garage to be looked at. It was booked in for the 21st, already two weeks on from its death, and now several days on from that, I’ve heard nothing. I feel like I was better off just getting it taken home, pull the last of my stuff that I need from it, and get something done with it. In the end, I feel like the scrapping route is inevitable.

Just gonna slam my head into desk. New Marketing woman had been pestering me about a video not playing on her laptop. Been running round in circles trying to make it play, it relies on HEVC, eventually got VLC to show something but the computer struggled with it. She’s moaning how playing video is important, so I get her to try a different video as I suggested in the first place to help me diagnose the issue. Works fine.
IT WAS JUST THIS ONE FLIPPING VIDEO

I swear my “office” is making me feel a bit unwell again. It’s warm, it’s uncomfortable, there are no windows, and can’t forget the fact that it’s a storage cupboard. I’ve had to step away to the staff sitting room with a drink for a few minutes.

They’ve let the kids run wild hunting for hidden members of staff around the school. I’ve just been interrogated by a group of them convinced I was one of them (I’m not, and no, I have no idea where anyone’s hiding, I’m just doing my IT tasks)

This is interesting and something I had been wondering about how GBR works, whether ownership of the stock would come into their hands again.
