@SteveRudolfi I'm good with starting over, when the web was just research, people who were passionate about a topic and maybe maybe a few webrings.
No ads, no single search engine, no dark patterns, just people who loved building for others and wanted to make the place better.

I can see why non-coders love it, you can get to prototype quick... whether those people should be building prototypes is a question I'd argue in another thread.

If you're looking for a new Mastodon client for #Android I've released #elefeed as a closed test on the Google Play Store, it's primary feature is the ability to separate your feeds by people you're following, hashtags or all. No tracking, no IAP.
