@H0W25 You won't have to go to about:config to disable AI features since there is a panel now to do it in about:preferences with a single click, that's the whole point of this new feature.

@jplebreton This is a work in progress, the Syncing part is not done yet but is in the works by a different team of developers. Rome wasn’t built in a day :)

@d3x7r0@mastodon.social This looks like the same bug which will be included in 148.0 beta 11. The slowness in getting results is not normal though, maybe file a bug if you still experience it with the next beta?

@d3x7r0@mastodon.social On Nightly? This was fixed in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2010941 a week agp. And btw there is no AI involved at all in the address bar autocomplete code :)
