I'm at the radiology department at my local hospital. On the inside of the bathroom door is a note saying that if you are being abused by threats or violence you can call these numbers. Then there is one number to a support line for women, one number to a support line for men, and one number to a support line for trans people. #trans #transrights #abuse #violence

#swepost Det digitala samhället 😑 Min vän lyckades slänga sin mobili havet. Han behöver logga in på Hallon för att både beställa en ny mobil och ett nytt simkort. För att kunna logga in på Hallon så behöver han BankID (vilket ju inte går då telefonen ligger på havets botten). Ett andra alternativ är att logga in med engångskod som skickas till hans mejl (gmail). Men han kan inte logga in på sin mejl på min dator för att Google kräver att han godkänner på sin mobil, alternativt att de skickar ett SMS till hans nummer. Moment 22. Det går ju inte heller ringa till de här billighetsoperatörerna och prata med dem. Han hade en bankdosa som dels va slut på batteri och dels kommer han inte ihåg PIN till den. Hans gamla telefon är för gammal för att köra BankID. Så vi fick börja med att gå till banken idag och skaffa en ny bankdosa. Nästa steg är att han får låna en nyare telefon som kan köra BankID. Med bankdosan hoppas vi kunna få in BankID så han sen kan beställa både mobil och nytt simkort från Hallon. @aks@scalie.zone No, it DOES work hehe. But somehow the setting was checked again for me. I unchecked it and tried again and it was only shown in KDE system notifications. I have also tried to close and start Thunderbird a few times and the setting is still unchecked now 👍🏻

I like Tor, but the downside is that many sites either block all Tor traffic, or I'm getting an exit node in a country that the website does not allow me to connect from. Many times I have to repeatedly press "new circuit" until the website loads. #Tor #Privacy #Security #Anonymity

@aks@scalie.zone Not sure what you mean. Here you can see my calendar, and today I have an event at 19:10 "test from thunderbird". And at 19:10 it shows up in KDE system notification (and no other window or anything pops up).
