During the #weekend I've finished the #Orchid #Lego set. I haven't built one in quite some time but it's one of those things that makes you fly in your own bubble in a place that it's all yours, exactly like when as a kid I was building stuff with the famous #bricks Thank you Lego for making new stuff while keeping true to your essence!

Thank you #Belgium, you've made my day 😀 #USA #WorldCup

These are the kind of people the world needs. As another president said, we are living in challenging times where doing the right thing is not always the easiest choice. It is a moment in history that requires us to be ready for challenges, to have the courage to stand up for what we believe is right, and to call out those who are messing up. This gives me hope that #USA might not be lost yet.

First time in an #olympic event and first time watching #hockey. Great day with great energy, loved the good vibes! Thank you #MilanoCortina2026 and thank you #USA and #Finland for the great match!

A better world needs people with vision, with the ability to stand up and keep their back straight against what's wrong, people who name things with their names when they see them, people able to see reality for what it is and not for what it was.

I don't know #Carney enough to say if these are just words or a real expression of his actions, but I thank him for giving a world such a good speech to draw a map for a better, more just world

After #AWS down now it's time of #Azure. Full respect for all users impacted and engineers working on the case, but everytime something like this happens I cannot stop thinking about the concentration of 'power' in very few hands.

#Internet was born as a system to distribute resources in order to make access to information more reliable: to me it's clear that #cloud is now going in the exact opposite direction; I'm not saying that cloud is bad, but we need more balance.

I work in #IT and I'm getting so sick of people who tries to sell me whatever kind of #AI pretending that without it I'll be left behind.I'm not against #ArtificialIntelligence but people don't understand that all this is a huge bet: I'm not saying it's good or bad but it's a bet and right now is a bet that is hugely boosted by millions that every day are pumped into the system.
We are all in a thick fog and many are just screaming "here there's an heaven, come with me", it's a huge risk #tech

#CSAR / #ChatControl is noble and deserve respect but the violation of #encryption is wrong:it's not about what people have (or don't have) to hide. It's about what happens when you end up on the"wrong side"

With a #backdoor like this you can't predict when it will be misused

Now is used(for a good reason)against underage content:next it could be used for god knows which kind of evil goals.Suddenly, you,me your mum, could end up 'on the wrong side'with no reason

#Europe

Please #Europe, today at the #WhiteHouse makes us proud citizens of an #EU that stands on the right side, that doesn't bend to injustice, that doesn't accept compromises just because it's the easy thing to do.

Show to the world that you can be a beam of light in this age of darkness, a display of values in a world that looks ruled just by economic and military power.

It's a good day to make the stars in the flag shine!

A wonderful #weekend in #Palermo (#Italy). A city with a great vibe, great #food, full of energy and with a sea and a weather nice enough to convince me to go for a swim in April (basically a miracle for my standards)

People must understand that #endtoendencryption is black or white,on or off. There is no gray, no"good guys can bypass it,bad guys can't"

Giving up on it means giving up on the right to send something knowing that just you and the recipient can read the message

Don't even begin to think that "I have nothing to hide": today more than ever we see that this condition can be temporary and fragile, that you can end up on the "other side" way too easily

Of this #opening #ceremony of #olympicwintergamesmilanocortina2026 I will probably remember:
-The marvelous design of the cauldron
-Italian anthem interpreted by #LauraPausini while #Corazzieri rise the flag
- #Europe flag on the Arco della Pace

I'm not sure about this idea of scattering everything in so many different places even if I like the fact that it's a way to bring the spirit to more people. #Nessundorma is probably a cliché by now and no:those three big heads were too much🤣

#olympics

I've just come back from a talk about #terrorism: I've just realized how foolish my idea of this concept was. Deep in me I've always associated it to fanatic people, to individuals or small groups of indoctrinated desperates who went through a brainwash. We (or at least I) tend to forget how our western society, our people well suited and with a tie, has direct responsibilities in acts that, by the very same definition of terrorism we've crafted, force us to define them in this way.
