Today's #DIY #WoodWorking project at the Yama-no-Furusatomura’s crafty hut! I actually bought the cabinet on the auction site mercari, so today’s DIY was kitting the cabinet out with a speaker, wirings, a Perspex panel for a topside jack, installing a jack panel by drilling a hole in the rear panel, and installing a faux leather handle on the side of the cabinet. I think it turned out beautifully! 👍 #Japan #summertime #weekend #craft

I didn’t get together with my friends to celebrate my birthday back in July. In the meantime, another’s friend’s birthday went by uncelebrated. So I baked an orange cake. Served with orange slices for people who choose to not eat the CONFECTION 😅 It feels good to go slow and make something to share with friends in RL. I MISSED THAT. Nearly finished work for the week - have a couple of admin tasks which I can complete here and then I am done. BUT on arriving home I realised the rattle I heard when I got out the van was not a random bit of rubbish on the tarmac but the lid of my *new* water bottle. So, now, I have to go back. 😭 #ADHD #weekend
