Music streaming service #Tidal which already pays more to artists than #Spotify (although not enough to make most rich) has stopped paying royalties for pure AI generated music. This is excellent news. There is nothing creative in pure AI music, sure it has its place in assisting in music creation, but 100% AI music does not deserve any recognition.

Go #England
I say this as a #Scotland fan, but I mean it, go for it England! Although it took a #German to get you this far this time! :-)
And that's not the first time it took a #German to get something from England somewhere, #BMWMini springs to mind :-)
No seriously though good luck, I will be cheering on the #England team and wish all my #English friends a great night.
In a world of bad news, here is something nice. #SirDavidAttenborough yesterday celebrated his #100th #birthday. His surprise party was at the #RoyalAlbertHall in #London. Sir David has been making amazing documentaries about our #planet and the many #plants and #animals on it for decades. In his warm, friendly and educated way he has championed protecting the environment.
#fifa has increased the prices of some tickets for the #worldcup to $32000. FiFA keeps the money, but the regions where the matches are hosted must pay for everything, including security for the execs. This is little more than a legit #scam fleecing the local tax payers in exchange for the #fifa execs having a nice life. It is time for countries to pull out of the #worldcup and #fifa

At last something sensible regarding housing in #Barcelona and potentially #athens. While tourism should be welcomed, endless airbnb apartments do not benefit those who need to live and work in a city. A city (or town) should first and foremost be for its residents.
The #evil regime in #Iran has stepped up the number of #executions in order to scare the population. Many have perished but in the photos shared here are Amirhossein Hatami, Babak Alipour, Pouya Ghobadi and Amirali Mirjafari.
In March alone at least 16 opponents of the regime, ranging from protestors to political prisoners were executed.
May they all rest in peace for their bravery and my thoughts to their families and friends.
#British #DJ and #presenter #AndyKershaw passed away. He was a huge promoter of music of all kinds and from many countries. He also contributed to the #bbc series #FromOurOwnCorrespondent where he covered topcis such as the #RwandanGenocide and the conflict in #SierraLeone . He was not perfect and faced some problems including a short prison sentence.
Thank you for the music Andy and the more indepth and sensitive stories covering some of the worst aspects of humanity. (...)
I am not a fan of the #uk #labourparty but #starmer should remain in power. He a #decent person who actually cares about the people. This is not something we had in the previous 14 years of #Tory #Government. Why #Mandelson was anywhere near #power again escapes me but it was #not #starmer who did anything wrong. The accolade of doing wrong sits squarely with #Mandelson
41% of jet fuel in Europe is imported and over recent years the refining capacity has been reduced. Leaving fuel supplies entirely to the market is crap.
Now for some nice news. Young actor and busker #GustavoBenza will star in a new #movie Afonso's Smile. The director (João Pedro Rodrigues) spotted him while he was busking during a stopover in #Luxembourg. So there is hope for all buskers here. Good luck Gustavo!
It is good to see that #inflation has fallen in the #uk so well done to the now removed #PM #KeirStarmer and former Chancellor #RachaelReeves so again the UK removes people who are actually on balance competent, although certainly not perfect. Anyway, let's celebrate some success when it is there.
