@ryan@hachyderm.io Also Darktable user here. I like it very much, but after years of using it, actually I'm searching for something simpler. I was in a photo studio a time ago and they edit the pictures with you directly after the shooting. They are using Mac and idk what program this was, but it had only a few sliders for color correction, brightness, lights/shadows and something like that. Actually this is that I want. I found 'Sly' which looks similar, but it's not for RAW until now.

Ob sich das mittlerweile geändert hat, keine Ahnung. Die Ergebnisse sind von 2019 und 2021. Seitdem ist wahrscheinlich für die meisten das Thema abgehakt. Aber auch in aktuelleren Tests von anderen Leuten sind die Ergebnisse mittelmäßig.

So gute Fortschritte gemacht mit regenerativen Energien, Wind/Wasser/Solar usw. und sooo viel eingespart, um dann mit dem ganzen Mist auf Dauer ein vielfaches an Energie zu verbrauchen, Tendenz steigend, sodass es am Ende eine absolut verheerende Minusrechnung ergibt. Ich kann's nicht fassen wie man so unglaublich dumm sein kann. Und das schlimmste: jeder macht mit und befürwortet es 😔

@BarbaraWagner@mastodon.social @petersuber@fediscience.org Vivaldi practically is Chromium. It uses the Blink engine. Every Chromium based browser is shown as Chrome in those tools. For that reason something different is better, but unfortunately the options are limited. I still hope @servo@floss.social is the solution.

Summer finally arrived 🫠
From time to time I'm watching videos from a guy living in #NYC and I'm shocked - but also I like it at the same time - that those guys operating an elevator in a house are still existing. I think it's a normal house and no big hotel. I would take the stairs very often, because I don't want to be with somebody in the elevator everday I leave or come back home. But I see it can be very welcoming and you can speak to one if you need to. #elevatoroperator

@MarcoAnsing@mastodon.social Super gut! Du hättest aber auch gleich Thunderbird für Android anstatt K-9 Mail installieren können, denn aus K-9 wurde vor einiger Zeit (2-3 Jahre?) Thunderbird. Ist also identisch und der offizielle Nachfolger. Warum es K-9 noch zusätzlich gibt weiß ich ehrlich gesagt nicht.

@SubTraKtion@mastodon.social @murena@mastodon.social @e_mydata@mastodon.social Don't forget it's not completely degoogled. By default microG is activated which connects to Google services. AFAIK it can be disabled in the settings, correct me if I'm wrong. But privacy is pretty good for Android.
