@BrentToderian I like to imagine every person on a bike as a car and think about how much more congested the roads would be if everyone drove. Those cyclists are doing drivers a favour by taking up less space.

In this case they complied with Swiss law, not the FBI directly, so the headline seems a bit misleading. The takeaway is: If you pay for any service in a traceable way, you are not anonymous. If you want to be anonymous, consider cash or Monero.

However, we're faced with a whole class of dangerous individuals and a system which promotes them, so a bigger picture understanding is needed. Otherwise the monster we hate will be replaced by another we've ignored.

@tiago@social.skewed.de seems like some are too big to be held accountable. Minor point, many people prefer the phrasing "took his own life" or "died by suicide". Using the word commit implies a crime and suicide is not or should not be a crime.
