Tak taky jsem to včera zkusil. Mám ji vyfocenou jen mobilem a pak velkým dalekohledem na WHOO!, ale svým dalekohledem ještě ne. Co fotit na jaře při měsíčku, když máte k dispozici jen oblast JJV až JZ a od 30°nad obzorem až po zenit. Tam žádné úzkopásmo na jaře není.

jen 30minut barev a při měsíčku, ale počasí fakt nepřeje a furt je zataženo, tak aspoň něco. V našich zeměpisných šířkách a ještě o to víc na Ostravsku se ta astrofotografie moc dělat nedá. Že mám vždy takové pošetilé záliby. :)

Večer jsem si zajel do vinotéky koupit nějaké víno. Přijedu tam, vystoupím z auta. Vystoupám po schodech. Strkám klíč do zámku. Divím se, že mi tam nejde strčit. Teprve pak si uvědomím, co dělám a chytám za kliku a vstupuju dovnitř.
Je to příznak přicházející demence, nebo co? Já chápu, že člověk třeba sedne do auta a přijede jinam, protože tu cestu jezdí často a jel automaticky. Ale snažit se odemknout dveře obchodu? Tam asi těžko bude něco zautomatizovaného. Už mi fakt hrabe? #mentalhealth

For those who are intelligent, it’s a tool for creating art, technology, medicine, science, while those who couldn’t create anything without AI end up creating AI slop. In the Czechia, we have a saying about fire: it’s good servant but bad master. The same applies to AI. You see results of AI used by fools, but AI will develop new materials, cure diseases, and discover laws of universe.

And matter can be compressed to an extreme degree. A star collapses into a neutron star by reducing its volume by 100,000,000,000,000,000 times. That’s only because the rest of its volume was empty. A rock can be compressed 100,000,000,000,000 times to have the density of a neutron star. So even rocks were largely empty.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social AI is just a tool; people use it and assign tasks to it. It is up to people to create art. AI learns from previous works, but people also learn from previous works. Studying at an art school is about studying the works of artists throughout history. AI does nothing different. But it is a tool. It is entirely up to the human to decide what is created and what is validated for publication.

@briankrebs Companies dealing with artificial intelligence are fine because their result is the synthesis and distortion of data. Worse off are companies that do not deal with artificial intelligence; they store your data without loss.
Celkově jsem vygeneroval už si 9h fullhd videa. (k jeho výrobě pro každou sekvenci jsem použil cca 20 pokusů, než to bylo podle mých představ. Tedy cca 8 dní fullhd videa.)

Přešel jsem z T-Mobile VDSL na O2 VDSL. Přišla mi SMS, že zítra (30.4) bude u nich z důvodu údržby mezi 7:30 a 14:30 pro moji linku odstávka. Co to jako má být? U T-Mobile jsem za deset let nic takového nezažil. Co je to za údržba (nepředpokládám, že mění d-slam) která potřebuje tolik času a ještě v pracovní době? To mají dělat ze soboty na neděli po půlnoci.
Tak jelikož si hostuju stránky sám, tak kdo narazíte na nedostupnost mého webu v tuto dobu, tak se omlouvám. Vyšší moc. #o2

It is likely that the underlying principles of AI will continue to evolve, but AI is simply here to stay. (Just like engines)

@maxleibman@beige.party What would it be like if steam engines had been discarded because they were highly inefficient, prone to frequent breakdowns, and produced a lot of heat? To this day, we’d still be walking everywhere, factories would be staffed by low-productivity workers with meager wages, and we’d be living in poverty. AI is currently at the same level as steam engines, but there are people who see the future and invest in it, while others only see “they took our jobs” and hate AI wherever they go.

Of course, even today there are lazy people who aren’t physically fit, so there will be probably be more stupid people who aren’t mentally fit. But that’s up to each of them. You can’t force them to think.

I hope that AI will, on the contrary, help to develop human ingenuity and inventiveness. (You can’t judge AI by how foolishly fools use it; judge it by how much it helps scientists where their very strong intellect is too weak.)
