They are my favorite people, and I'm aiming on becoming one....it's not so much exporting....as "exploiting". But like your posts say, they are loaded. Their Sovereign fund is so stuffed, I think they're hiding the rest under Jonas Støre's mattress. What's odd is they themselves are not major carbon contributors as more as the people they are exploiting are.

As I understand their oil goes all over, but we buy a lot of it. But…we Americans are crack heads. I call gasoline “freedom crack”. And if you deny us even the slightest bit of oil…withdrawls will ensue and then we fucking start tearing apart the world looking for drugs. So, any denial is going to hurt.

And nearly all their oil is exported to the US. It would cause us a little bit of pain over here. But, most of their GDP is exports, so it wouldn't be a longterm strategy, but enough to fire a warning shot. A pretty painful one (in the most Norwegian way possible)

Ray would not let anyone smoke outdoors. And this guy, torched his own ranch. Up in flames. And got away with it, because it could have easily been the drought. And insurance fraud like that happens, quite a bit actually.

Now that sounds all manly, and burp and fart....but...a TDI gets INSANE gas mileage. It just sips it like tea. I'll get an electric VW when I'm in Europe, but sadly, electric infrastructure, especially here in Texas, has pretty much intentionally been hobbled to where it's not useful.

The rest of the state doesn't really have a de facto religion. We also don't tolerate fascism very well. Nazi militias from Idaho keep trying to invade the part I'm from, and we consistently boot them out. I have never known anyone except LDS for being fundies
