@Techaltar@mas.to Good luck!
P.S. what is the general sentiment among the people currently, are they hopeful?

@rsmedia@universeodon.com huh it's more or less my linux-bubble as well. Plus #MentalOutlaw ...

@justaguylinux@fosstodon.org Nice distro 👍
It's always exciting to have lightweight and debloated OS experience.
For the future improvements I'd be happy to see Docklike Taskbar instead of Window Buttons; default Compact view in Thunar and window placement at the center of the screen... 😌

@richlv@mastodon.social @organicmaps@fosstodon.org There are no ads in Organic Maps, so that's not the case. The one thing could be if OSM is not "censoring" sexshop locations (as someone mentioned in the comments below) or some other "adult" places perhaps... Which is effing ridiculous 🤡

@Tutanota@mastodon.social One more reason to install custom roms :)
And to buy only those brands/models which can have bootloader unlocked and drivers available.

@Okuna@social.tchncs.de @Tutanota@mastodon.social Yeah, that's a real issue. On the other hand even currently majority of new smartphones are not flashable. I hope there will always be such models.

@thelinuxcast While you're right in theory, enshittification of a music industry is the reality :D
@delta@chaos.social I hope it will solve the issue with barely working push notifications for play store version of the app.
Does anyone know how to make bash scripts run periodically in #xfce ?
I want automatic switch between dark/light themes and found a small script in below #git repository which works (with a little modification), but when adding it to autostart as described it doesn't work at all :(
#LouisRossmann is right: It's not about physical copies but #DRM.
For example I have couple of PC game DVDs which still require activation over the internet. So no benefits for having them on physical discs over digital installation files!
On the other hand I have dozens of #GOG game installers stored in my HDD which can be installed on any PC with no internet required. And I can burn them to physical discs any time I want!
So lads, learn how to have right priorities :)
Everytime I pass by those plants my mind automatically applies "Skyrimization" layer on top :D

Corruption in foss "foundations" and usage of "CoC"s as repression instruments? Who would have thought... :D
Jokes aside tho, the larger and more bureaucratic any project becomes the higher chance such shit can happen. That's why I support things to stay as small-scale and independent as possible.
