Bought Frostpunk yesterday. Highly recommend—unless you value your time. :oof: :malicious:
Me last night at 9:30pm: Let's take an hour and see what it's like. An hour later: 1am WTF?!
It showed up in my wishlist so I promptly bought it FOR a whopping $3.69 CAD.
But I purchased it so quickly, I didn't notice the GOTY edition with 3 DLC for a staggering 76¢ more. So now I gotta buy that one too. 🤷🏼🫠

The top floor of the huge Surugaya (game/hobby chain store) has a gaming space for 50+ people.

A nice surprise in this everything-for-profit world.

I had to watch this because I was there. Literally. The day the police raided the farm, I was bartending just down the street, and the media trucks were out the back door lining the road. My regulars knew Willie well. And most of my coworkers had gone to the pig roasts (and eaten those pigs 🤮 ).
But this movie is too long. And it sucks.

Finally installed Scrivener on my Linux drive as i can't be bothered to reboot into Windows every time I use it. Some more annoying configurations still to be done but it works.
I also just realized that if I avoid the compiler, Scrivener is not pure evil.

I asked Gemini if it's safe to eat an English muffin 2 days past its expiration. date.
It said No.
But it only took 2 replies from me to get it to say Go For It—enjoy your breakfast!

Started using Strava again (abandoned Fitbit after it failed to record a long ride) and the map is good and the basic stats are good, but it's a mess of an app.

Holy Brickowski! How did I completely miss one of the most dramatic events in Lego history? The epic saga continues to this day, unsolved and unresolved.
