In the den. Straight up "jammin to it". And by "it", haha, well. Let's just say, keygen music.

Presenting the HTML templating system you didn't know you already had:

@kim@k.iim.gay @mgorny@social.treehouse.systems If you've packaged for any other distribution, I think you'll feel right at home. Make sure to read man 5 ebuild and mgorny's guides to EAPI7 and 8, and don't be afraid to dig into and read the eclass/ directory in the repository, as well as /usr/lib/portage//phase-.sh, as you'll find all the functions you'll be using in there.
(Though start with the devmanual.gentoo.org website if you haven't read it yet)
I love application launchers that sort apps based on use. If I want to forget about an app for a while, I just, reset its usage counter. Now it will be pushed down the list off screen until I explicitly search for it.

98% isn't very much
I have this conversation often enough, whether it is about supporting use cases or people, success rate of a process, or etc.
It's one of the cases where people will lie to your face using ratios: If the glass is half full, they will say 98%, which sounds like almost everything; If the glass is half empty, they will say 1 out of 50, which suddently sounds like an alarming figure.
This is a good short blog post expressing this feeling.
Today I was thinking of how I lowkey miss the interactivity of the next->next->done installation of programs on windows, especially the part where you see the progress graphically, and wondered if it'd be fun to make something like this for Linux.
Then I remembered that this is one of the many ways #OpenSUSE was way ahead of its time: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:One_Click_Install
I'm pretty sure Q4OS also has a few wizards like this, but you can't download them from a site.
