@lewd while I'm all for not buying into the China hype, I did take a train there from Beijing to Shanghai in 2012 (!) and it was absolutely amazing?! Didn't feel bumpy at all. I'm sure things must've improved since. That being said, another train I took Shanghai-Hong Kong was not that great.

In order to have a *really* good autocomplete, you'd have to in one way or another internalize much of the world's knowledge. So, "just fancy autocomplete" is really not the witty criticism some think it is.

@cryptgoat das bookmarke ich mir mal. Obwohl ich "technisch versiert" bin oder mich dafür halte, weiß ich zwar nicht was DSLite und MTU ist, aber das kriege ich im Zweifel raus. Ich bin über TV Kabel und VPN im Netz und manchmal ist es langsam und VPN ausmachen hilft. Meistens hilft's allerdings nicht..

Man versus machine, the eternal battle

In order to avoid a huge tragedy and sadness, I needed to trace a coloring outline of a dragon mask ASAP. My first try was asking claude. Claude's result is very impressive given the difficult task, but impressive does'nt mean good (enough) here.

Then, I turned to my rusty inkscape skills and traced it myself. I feel like I beat the machine easily! I was aware from the start that the dragon is symmetric, such that I only needed to trace half of it and copy it over, but I figured it was going to take longer to find out how to replicate the other half than to just trace it. And I had a restless 4-year-old on my lap so time was very much finite.
