@linuxfoundation@social.lfx.dev cool, but - was the AI-generated image strictly necessary?

I've updated Griode (my Launchpad-and-Raspberry-Pi-in-a-trenchcoat DIY music instrument!) so that it runs on modern Python (therefore, on modern Raspberry Pi OS).
Changes include:
- new persistence layer (settings are saved in individual YAML files instead of Python shelve databases)
- support for USB audio interfaces (better quality, higher volume, lower latency than the Pi's built-in audio)
- better hotplug support (unplugging/replugging a Launchpad should now work correctly)
If you wonder what Griode is, here are a few demo videos:

Me and my thousand partner polycule saw you from across the bar and we'd like to offer you a cookie
I received an obvious phishing/scam email, so out of curiosity, I clicked (for the first time ever) on "AI overview" in GMail to see what it'd say about it.
The result will surprise you
(well it really shouldn't)
But hey I hope it helped some assclown with their promo packet and maybe landed them a bonus!
@lina@vt.social that's because some folks have containers that don't output much logs but run for a long time, so that would be annoying for them. And auto rotating after e.g. 100MB would also be annoying for the folks who expect to be able to access multiple gigs of logs at once. And auto rotating on, say, X% of disk usage would lead to rather impredictible situations, which also sucks.
It's not great, but if you want to run docker in production, you're expected to take care of a few things - the same way that if you want to run prod stuff on, say, a Linux machine, you're expected to set up backups, log shipping, perform regular upgrades, etc. - these things are essential and if you don't do them, sooner or later stiff will break.
Okay #berlin friends, we're doing this again !

Next month I'll come up on stage and sing (for a somewhat liberal definition of "sing") along with amazing students from the splendiferous Erin O'Meally.
If we know each other and you don't have anything fabulous planned that night, come over and cheer for all of us!
