Whenever a politician (or similar) claims "I've done nothing wrong" I'm reminded of my dad's perfect response: "So why did you stop doing it when you were found out?".
Spent an hour or more today trying to configure dnsmasq on my NAS to give ipv6 addresses for local machines before I realised that I hadn't enabled ipv6 on the NAS. I'm glad I don't do this for a living.

This got more attention than I expected. Over 300 boosts and 450 favourites, well more than anything else I've ever posted.
Measurable rain at last. More please.
Today I learned that the best known Albinoni piece isn't actually by Albinoni.
I've just renamed my garden pond "Lake Trump".
Saw some broad-winged damselflies on my walk this afternoon, I think a male doing a courtship display to a female.

Whenever I see a video like this I can almost feel that lovely alpine air in my lungs.
Just had probably my shortest ever dental appointment. I'm pleased that the dentist noticed my gums are looking much healthier than 6 months ago. I bought an electric toothbrush soon after the last check up and it has really made a difference.
Less impressed that the dentist thought I was due for some X-rays, until I reminded him that he did a set last time.
I'm getting fed up with urban foxes dragging pond weed out of my pond. Wondering if an electric fence might work as a visually unobtrusive way to protect it.
