Wrath of Khan observation: I never realized people don’t wear glasses in Star Trek until Bones gave Kirk some 400 year old glasses. Kirk genuinely was like “What’s this?”

Today is an exciting day. @jsbilsbrough@mastodon.me.uk got the keys to our new flat. We also bought furniture for it!
Can’t wait to see it in September.
The #BlueSkyOutage is why I still rely on and prefer Mastodon for my social media. I'm on Bluesky, but giving all control to one company is not what I want again. There is always a chance an instance goes down, but not the whole #Fediverse.
Just when you think you’ve found a good company, their co-owner turns out to be a Nazi. #Mullvad
With Sony not bringing PlayStation games to PC anymore, I guess I’ll fill my library with other games. I’ll play what they’ve brought, but I am not getting a PS5.
Just because Pride Month is over doesn’t change the fact queer people exist. Let’s not erase the need for protection and rights in so many countries.
How is 40c even allowed? Whoever picked the weather today gets fired.
No matter whether you are on Earth or in space, Outlook is the bane of existence.
Great movie, highly recommend.
That was scary. My phone didn’t believe I was 18+ at first. Was afraid of getting locked out of things. Thankfully it worked on second try.
Be wary of iOS 26.4 if you are in the U.K. or have a U.K. account.
Mom: Price of gas went up again.
Me (Thinking): Yeah, it’s due to our dictator taking us to war wrongly in Iran.
Doing my patriotic duty and watching Independence Day.
I’ve been late to the party on Our Flag Means Death. Binged a good bit last night.
Just a public reminder that @jsbilsbrough@mastodon.me.uk is a nerd. And I love him for that.

@erisa@awau.social @jsbilsbrough@mastodon.me.uk @tailscale@hachyderm.io @airvpn@mas.to that is great news especially after the recent unfortunate news about Mullvad. We love your integrations and don’t want to stop using Tailscale for our VPN solution.

Learned a new functionality in @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net, tab tiling. I can have two tabs next to each other in one window!
A conservative member of the LGBTQIA+ seems like a contradiction. You literally are for an ideology that doesn’t like you. You are voting for people who don’t want you to have rights.
Watching a video about a Gays 4 Trump cruise and it just baffles my mind that this actually exists.
So does vibe coding mean that it’s built by AI and then not maintained after problems arise in the code?
Can’t believe I’m actually moving from #1Password to #BitWarden. Been a 1P user for years.
I’ll be honest, kept thinking the Artemis launch was an April Fools Joke. Actually excited to hear we are going back to the moon even if it’s just orbiting it.

@futtta I had a similar issue finishing up my degree. What I did was show some published articles on how many false positives the AI checking tools use. I feel bad for anyone currently in academics.
Sora shutting down is a win for the environment and for a reduction in AI slop videos.
It makes me sad to see so many students writing essays using AI then using a “humanizer” to pass the detection tests.
I got through school and college by writing my essays. It takes time, but you learn a lot about writing.

Still blows my mind to realize MGM is owned by Amazon.
So you mean I get to watch #Heman and see a shirtless man all movie? Sign me up.
I feel that #MalcolmInTheMiddle Life is Unfair was really good. It brought back enough characters to feel like a nice send-off for the series. It felt like a celebration of these characters.
The show also got huge wins with me for including a Non-binary character and also making Stevie queer. It felt like it represented life and diversity by including these segments.
I’m not upset with what we got. If we don’t get anymore, it was fun to go back.
Happy Easter.
“Why do birds sing so gay?”
Maybe they don’t want to be straight.
Ads are inevitable. Will be trying this out as a manager of a store. Also excited by Suggested Places.

This is cool. Cloudflare uses lava lamps to help determine randomness for their flights.

Just played the new #Neopets mini game collection for an upcoming video. Gotta say it was so much fun and it feels great seeing older flash games being brought back.
In my canon there is no sequel to Independence Day.
Gabriel Iglesias released a new YouTube video with transphobic jokes in it. I expected better from him.

@Nonya_Bidniss@infosec.exchange liberals in the weather service???? They are trying to keep them safe.
I celebrate the 4th of July, not for why MAGA celebrate.
I celebrate knowing that even while forces try to take away all rights except for White Christian Narionalists—people are fighting back and resisting.
History has shown us that good will prevail. I believe it will again!
