Hey @tailscale@hachyderm.io,

I know these things can't happen overnight, I know there's a lot to consider, but would you please look at adding some alternatives to Mullvad?

How about a nice partnership with @airvpn@mas.to - they've got Wireguard support?

Thanks for considering.

RIP Rob Grant, co-creator of #RedDwarf.

In honour of his comedy genius, I ask you all to step up to Red Alert, and be sure to change your bulbs.

RE: @digitaltrends@flipboard.com

Let’s just be clear, the flaw is not with @signalapp@mastodon.world but with how iOS handles notification caching.

The article does make it clear that Signal’s encryption has not been broken, but the headline is click bait.

Today is a genuinely exciting day, I’m on my way to Scarborough to pick up the keys to the new flat.

Still renting, but a huge step up and cheaper than my Bournemouth place.

It’ll be @jae@mastodon.me.uk and I’s home for years to come, hopefully we can figure immigration for her sooner than later.

Getting ready for quite a big move in mid-July, moving about 7 hours north to Scarbrough.

Today, I started packing up the streaming setup, which means I'm now using my MacBook Air (M3) as my main machine with my remaining monitor.

Have to admit, I like having Touch ID available, I do wish Apple sold a Magic Trackpad with a fingerprint reader!

Genuinely proud to see @tripsy@mastodon.social get 'App of the Day' on #Apple's #50thAnniversary.

It's coming up on a year since I started working with @thiagosanchz@mastodon.design and @rafaelks@mastodon.social to handle customer support for this wonderful travel app.

If you're on iPhone, iPad, or Mac do check it out:

No, Donnie, you orange rapist, we don't want your views on our country - just because you're a racist, climate change denying, hateful piece of crap does not mean you get to comment on the PM.

Go have a dip in the reflecting pool, I hear algae goes real well with fake tan!

Of course, I want Starmer gone, but I also want a leadership that focusses on equality and the future, can Burnham deliver that under Labour?

Please reach out to a developer's support email before leaving ALL CAPS APP STORE REVIEWS with no detail.

Thank you

RE: @dosgameclub@dosgame.club

I remember playing this, or at least a demo of it, back in the day.

My biggest frustration with AI is that we're blurring machine learning and generative AI into one blob.

Good use of AI (ML): Improving audio quality and filtering out background noise etc, *without* changing the audio content (spoken word) - Riverside do this for their 'Magic Audio' feature.

Bad use of AI (GenAI): Garbage videos by so called UGC creators (aka scumbag influencers) that they've just thrown into something like Sora.

Honestly never thought I'd say this, but i'm genuinely considering moving away from #1Password.

Their announcement of a price hike today, and the line "AI-powered item naming" as something they're promoting as a positive has me concerned.

What are people's experiences with @bitwarden@fosstodon.org like?

Okay, need some #3DPrinting advice.

My Ender-3 V3 SE is a great printer, but lately no matter what filament I'm trying I'm getting really rough prints, a lot of stringing, and poor first layers.

Just tried an un-opened spool today, same issue.

Is it possible I have a bunch of crap filament, it's Soleyin that I bought in a deal from Creality - all the specs look okay.

I'm using OrcaSlicer and OctoPrint, could either of those cause issues?

I'm going to be blunt (no change then)...

Erik Per Sullivan (the original Dewey) had every right to not want to be part of a reunion.

He's chosen to leave acting, and we should simply respect that.

It's not some 'oh my gosh' he turned down loads of money moment, it's a grown man who *was* a child star who is no longer in the industry.

By all reports, he's happy, can we just let him have that??!

Also, the actor who did play Dewey in the reunion (Caleb Ellsworth-Clark) did an amazing job!

Not wearing headphones when watching video on a train should be grounds to be thrown off at the next station.

Allowing your kids to climb on tables, on a moving train, should be grounds for social services to get involved.

We really do need adult only work focused carriages that don’t cost first class prices.

I'll take war criminals and Nazis for $500, please.

So, with the #WWDC26 dates now confirmed, I am curious about how those outside of the US feel about travelling for the event.

Would love boosts, as this would definitely be a talking point for streams and as the partner of someone in the US, who has chosen not to travel to TrumpLand™️.

Starting the migration process for our @getchannels@techhub.social DVR to a new box at my parents house - my dad was getting fed up of BBC local news for the South West when they live in Yorkshire!

RE: @danirabbit@mastodon.online

This is such an important thread from Danielle, whilst age verification at the OS level sucks it’s now law and the right people to challenge are the lawmakers not the hardworking OS builders.

When did it become socially acceptable to be steaming drunk on a train at 10:30 am? I know I’m sounding like an old fart, but this bunch of obnoxious bratty girls are driving me crazy.

Clearly well off, as they have a huge bottle of champagne between them.

Can someone tell me how some worthless moron standing on the street with a big board saying trans women are men is not hate speech ?

As the partner of a trans woman I have to admit I get angry.
