When are they going to do a Star Trek episode where a neurotypical manages to establish successful communication with an autistic person?
Or how about one where an autistic crew member has the key insight into establishing communication with a hostile alien species because they've been forced to do that their entire freaking life?
You keep flirting with autism as a metaphor, Star Trek. Come on, already!
Things that often happen to you when you're autistic:
- You have no friends.
- You have lots of enemies.
- People blame you for things you didn't do or didn't intend.
- People infer maliciousness or negligence where there is none.
- People are violent without instigation.
- People do not care about your welfare because they believe you do not deserve or need care.
There are so many jokes and innuendos that can be made out of this. I'll get the ball rolling: The Strait of Trump is clogged right now...bigly constipated. The Iranians need to pull out so it can be oiled up again.

"It then plans to convert that energy to near-infrared light and beam it at sufficiently large solar farms—on the order of hundreds of megawatts—which can convert that light to electricity."
"The technology would increase the return on investment from building solar farms and reduce reliance on fossil fuels — if it can be deployed at scale."
