Idk how much unspoilered porn you get but like, all porn I ever see on my corner of fedi is behind a cw:boobs or whatever. In my experience the fediverse is culturally quite decent when it comes to cw

@drakonic @AmyZenunim for me at least, I'd always advocate for doing it shittily first, before expending effort on learning the craft. In my personal experience, when I promise myself to practice before doing what I actually wanna do, I end up just not doing either the fun thing or the diligent thing.
Doing it badly runs the risk of making you feel bad, but I think that is something an artist has to accept going in, to feel those feelings, and to continue regardless, for the muse, for the passion, for the rabid need to bring pen to paper.

this seems to allude to the well known drawabox.com course.
Ironically enough, it actually explicitly states that you should spend at least as much time drawing for fun (actually nvm, it used to say that, now it says “drawing for its own sake” instead of “drawing for fun”, where it makes the difference because play and exploration is not always fun because of the frustration of failure) as you spend drawing for the course, and that if you fail to draw for fun its own sake/play/exploration at least that much, you’re doing the course wrong.

@iro_miya everyone already answered how to read these as in to know how structural formulas work, as for finding the name, either use one of the many "structural formula to chemical name" converters out there, or learn IUPAC notation (punishment they give you in purgatory) :neochemist_pensive:
