Alright fedi, can I have a recommendation for an email provider which:

• is not based in a country, or at the very least, no UN-recognised nation
• has a no-log policy only in the summer, as I have a fireplace in my house so I gotta be burning those logs when it gets cold
• supports end-to-end encrypted lucid dreaming
• is completely vegan and ideally fairtrade, but rainforest alliance is also fine
• supports using other people's domains, I like those more than mine
• allows for text formatting in green, and also, ideally, red. I love my friends Green and Red.
• has diplomatic treaties with other mail providers

Added FOSDEM because may as well

This is a cable that plugs into both micro-USB and lightning (look at the hole in the middle)

A loooooot more people would support anarchy if they understood what it is

eh, instead of being angry I should learn how to better explain it to people, because I'm clearly not good at it. Any good resources to explain to people what we mean by anarchism, abolishing the policing, and such? Like, easy to read introductions. Or any advice on how to educate others on this in general? idk

@gwenthefops@booping.synth.download Okay so spilling the waffles was an 8... but what can I do with this?

Technically the difference is that granola is toasted and has sweeteners in it while muesli is uncooked and unsweetened. However, I'm fairly confident most Germans and Dutchies would refer to any granola as muesli if it were right in front of them.

@agowa338@chaos.social it's not people being idiots, it's collective trauma from capitalism that makes people selfish. This is something we can unlearn!

@June@mastodon.catgirl.cloud Hmmm, I think different people have different ideas on how we could achieve this, this is my approach but I'm not sure how standard this is. Personally I think that cooperatives would be a great model for corporate entities under anarchy. Workers—or the general public—have a say in the practices of companies and can impose rules for them to follow. What would prevent someone from making a private company? Societal expectations I think. If everything is expected to be worker owned, someone deciding to build a private structure would immediately seem like an asshole that people wouldn't wanna support. That's the thing, bosses only have power because people think they do. If we don't allow them to have authority, then they wont be able to gain it. Under an anarchist society, a hierarchy in authority would just seem like a really dumb concept. "Yeah and who put you in charge?"

Given my track record, sharp container manufacturers should hire me to test whether their permanent locking mechanism truly can't be activated by accident

I considered MOLLE or PAX but actually I think it's not what I want. These systems are designed to carry lots of stuff, but also access them on the field easily. I want to carry lots of stuff but I will be unpacking everything at once when I arrive. It's quite different. I don't care as much about having lots of zippers and pouches, I want things to be packed as tightly yet as neatly as possible. So yeah, again, something like a flight case. Just figure out how I can pack my stuff in a Eurobox in the most organised way possible. Make custom sized compartments and all.

@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems It's so funny how there was only one company in the entire state affected by this law, and it was Dangerous Things. To quote one of their engineers I put in chips for development often and I don't think any reasonable person would see that as not a requirement for employment

I am literally like this

Is this the first time you're reading this? Are you sure?

There isn't really any straightforward way to compare NFC transponder range. "Range" is very loosey goosey because it is affected by a wide variety of factors, like the exact way the coil is layed down and a while lot of physics I don't understand. Any NFC reader/transponder that promises a specific range, like, expressed in centimetres, is lying to you. So as a universal standard for comparing NFC readers and transponders, I suggest we just show them to Amal and he tells us where it falls on "shit" to "nice" spectrum

I wish ATMs let you withdraw coins, they're so convenient, like you can quickly settle a small debt that's not worth asking for an IBAN for, you can give out when people ask you for money, and Germany still has some vending machines that don't take card and while they're annoying they're also the cheapest ones

I feel like all the trains still have their AC turned on like we're still in a heatwave

A small MOLLE system could be nice for when I travel for just a few procedures though. For events though I need looooots of supplies.

Going from London to Hamburg through Rotterdam with a dicket for the German part, this trip will last from 8 AM to 9 PM (Central European time) including the 1 hour it takes to check into Eurostar and the 30 minutes from the station to my home

Yes I need to come up with two different systems. One for just 2-3 procedures, prioritising quick unpacking, and one for events where there may be 20 procedures, prioritising efficient space usage.

I have needles on me that range from 4 gauge to 30 gauge

Bonjour, nous sommes vendredi

Dutch people will be like "that's so far,," and it's literally a 2h30 train

@makuru@mastodon.catgirl.cloud yeah

Wtf Uelzen has such a beautiful train station

trans music sounds different from cis music

That's right these are perfectly fine for all your procedure needs

One hard thing as a body mod artist is giving people an idea of what a mod might be like, while also not making promises for what their body will do when there's so much variation in healing... Like some people's glow scars become totally unnoticeable (when not glowing) after months, for others (like me), they might remain a visible scar forever. Or how long it takes for things to heal. Some people's magnets are totally unproblematic after 2 weeks, for others it can take a whole month. Mine has been on the longer side of things. At least, the more I do this stuff, the more samples I get. But every now and again there'll be someone whose body does something really unexpected, that's also always a possibility...

@N33R@fops.cloud well there are other good drugs for chemsex that would probably work on you, like MDMA

I hope I eventually get pictures of me at EMF, a few folks took photos of my outfit at the rave, should have asked for their socials

WHY DID IT GET TRUNCATED LIKE THAT 😭
