I really liked the patterns of this flower. It's probably a wild carrot. the thing in the middle is part of the flower, not an insect #bloomscrolling

The live concerts were fun because the four of them were cycling through who plays guitar, bass, organ and drums at almost every track. The debut album tanked, they are not a band anymore, some of them still make music. If I share an image which is mostly text (but maybe with some tabular formating or similar) - Is it fine to describe the table, but assume to rely on OCR to pick up the text characters in the image, in posts like this? https://mas.to/@fleuron/117046983144627607 or should the alt text be a replication of the text content of the image?

• even if they do, it might not be usable output
• it's better to include the full text of an image of text in the alt text

I've been doing math as a native german speaker for a large part of my life and this quirk KEEPS ANNOYING ME. For decades! Please can we stop with the inconsistency.
