We just learned that at the start of this year @disroot@nixnet.social launched a #Vaultwarden instance. Having been fed up with @bitwarden@fosstodon.org for a while now (trying to force a CLA, slopcode, and apparently the next renewal would have cost Us double what We've been paying for the past 5 years), We moved basically instantly, canceled the subscription, removed the old account and set up a donation almost more out of spite than anything, now #Disroot will get more money from Us than #Bitwarden would've sneakily upcharged, and use that money for the benefit of a community, rather than the detriment.

Not to mention that even without paying Vaultwarden offers more functionality (notably TOTP support) than Bitwarden's free tier. And it works with all the same clients as Bitwarden, so you(g) don't even need to switch software to start using. Bitwarden's export and import functionality is swift and painless, although remember to separately grab the custom domains, those aren't in the export, as We've learned the hard way.

@rallias@hax.social I love how "to 6 7 sth." immideately and intuitively describes a fairly complex motion that would otherwise take a sentence or two. How would you(g) even say this back in 2024? "I vertically oscilated my boobs with their phases being misaligned by half"?

@Waterfox@mastodon.social Hi, We're currently looking around for a new webbrowser on account of all the "AI" stuff, this statement looks promising, though, if We may, We'd like to hear some more direct statements about where Waterfox as a project stands. In decreasing order of relevance: What are the politics of Waterfox? In general, but in particular regarding marginalized folks such as black and/or queer individuals? What critiques does the project usually get about its politics and what's the stance on those? The blogpost focuses on the usage of "AI"/LLM in the context of webbrowser usage, but what is the stance on the technology of "generative" "AI" as a whole? In particular relating to the financial bubble around it, the slave labor necessary to create it, the poisoning of the web, climate destabilization and energy grid degradation that it causes? What about locally ran models? The blogpost mentions that "LLMs have utility, measurably so" - Which is that? The Waterfox repository has a folder for the Zed editor, of which a key feature is the integration of LLMs. Is "AI"/LLM produced code used in the Waterfox project? Are "AI"/LLM produced code contributions accepted? The Waterfox.com 404 page includes the following image: https://www.waterfox.com/_astro/astronaut-nobg.CW-JfQlf_Z125kPS.png - Is this made by an artist, and, if so, whom?

@little_foxtoy@bark.lgbt A common assumption We see folks make is that "roles" are something innate or static and linked to a given headmate, but We feel that tends to be an unhelpful redaction. In Our opinion, it's much more helpful to treat these labels (and all others, for that matter) as something descriptive, rather than prescriptive - for example that Aimée isn't the onemost around because she's the host, she's the host because she does the most. This change in framing can be all it takes. Often headmates feel confined by the role they agree, or, perhaps, reluctantly accept they have and stepping out of that can be as simple as them believing that it doesn't have to be this way. And from there it's a matter of organization among the headmates and training for the desired outcome - for her to learn to let go of the front, for you to keep holding onto it. The organization can be helped by externalizing communication, perhaps in a chat with somemany else, perhaps somewhere private, but generallyit helps to write thesethings out, as communicating in vague feelings has the potential for stuff to not be properly let out, for example via gaps in the communication being subconsciously filled by what the other wants or expects them to communicate.

Long ago, when wee little Us was first learning about the nazis, it's always stood out like an odd detail to Us that how there were lamps and books made of human skin.

Sure, in terms of cruelty, We can believe that those were produced, given all the other "creative" stuff they'd been up to with the holocausts, but, "who would buy this", We thought - how could there possibly be enough interest from the general population to maintain a thing of which the acquisition and possession is so obviously linked to the suffering, exploitation, disfiguration and perverse context annihilation of the human makeup required for its very existence that it makes itself impossible to ignore?

Today, We look at the way "#AI" is treated by folks at large, and We wish We could still be wondering about this seemingly implausible aspect of a presumed bygone era of unprecedented cruelty so bad that surely this world would try their best to avoid happening another time.

The boon of taking #stimulants isn't that you get to stop having that breakdown, it's that you continue having that breakdown, but now your bed is cleaned and floor is vacuumed.

On an unrelated note, here's Our nest, according to @tzeentcha@todon.eu, it's pretty comfy despite leaving them sore after sleeping in it.

@little_foxtoy@bark.lgbt Wouldn't say it's the only way, more a learning tool. There's the obvious primary result of getting a thought from A to B, but also the secondary effect that y'all get in the habit of completely forming these thoughts and directing each other to take them in.

@little_foxtoy@bark.lgbt This, of course, assumes that everymany is equal, which is basically never the case, but the nuances of that can't be accounted for without knowing the situation closer.

@Waterfox@mastodon.social It's been almost a month since We asked, do you wish to put in any words about these topics or are We to assume that besides the very specific application of LLMs piloting a webbrowser the project is uncritical of the usage of "AI" and has LLM "generated" code? #AI #NoAI #LLM

@rallias Oral progesterone can make you more sleepy, but in itself won't make you sleep better, that part is likely just progesterone being there at all. You sould avoid taking progesterone orally if you can - it's ths least efficient method out there, short of putting it on a stand and hoping ærial transmission is sufficient. Also the sex drive is, as with most things HRT, a YMMV kind of deal. It's a bit of a meme that progesterone makes you horny because when it hits it *really hits*, though in Our personal experience it's not a flat increase and more that it unlocks the potential and makes it more responsive, but you still gotta get there yourself. That said, progesterone has been a massive boon in addressing Our anxiety, which used to be everpresent, nowadays is barely an issue, and even helps Our executive issues a little. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OGiomfiMk18nPb3ITKZD9pWPvWRUlyI06enxahQpHBI

@admin@todon.eu That's really strange, especially given that PayPal renewals *do* (seem to) work on Ko-Fi. If donation options are revisited in the future, We would love for there to be an option to just do a SEPA bank transfer like you can with https://disroot.org/donate , We've just gone through a couple donation pages for the stuff We care about, and, Stars, everything else has you jump through so many hoops, usually while shaving off a percentage of those donations.
