The fact that influencer like you refuse to setup their own instances. You can do that with a few clicks from where you are right now, for example with @mastohost@mastodon.social, and offer your followers a profile on your server. They become your community member, supporting your work with a modest yearly fee.

And don't go big is beautiful! Exclusiveness is key and moderation the bottle neck of healthy social media.

Resulta que el precio de gasoil estaba a 47,32 pesos UY mientras el de nafta super estaba en 76,89 UYU. Como si fuera poco se descubrió el otro día que la ballesta principal de la rueda delantera derecha esta quebrada. EN el pueblo nos cruzamos con uno de los mecánicos que ya menciono un precio de mano de obra. #preciosCombustibles #Uruguay

I consider that point in case is that "the community" should agree on on terms, hashtags to be more precise that toots should use. Something like: #advertisingMyArt #selfAdvertising, something like that. That way people can adjust their filters or even search specifically when they want to.
