mastodon 4.7.3Now my primary account - supposed to be a home for all my paper, design, art, poetry and ephemera ramblings. But is ending up a place I post bird and landscape photos, with the occasional climate, environment and tech bits thrown in. Expect typos, bad grammar, and generally a slapdash approach to things.
Avatar shows a person with a lens over one eye. Header background says “missed it” but the CMYK colour is offset too much

I feel like this should be plastered across every laptop and computer. Maybe in the form of a void if removed label.

@brian_greenberg@infosec.exchange that’s great, but don’t MS already have a product called Visio - which if a deliberate decision by the french, makes this even better.
glad Zirk is still alive but will start the migration, just me needing to be in control and wanted to do this for ages.

@lisafast Marcy grew up in sweden so i think she’d love it, though all the years in california have made her very much a fair weather hound
@scott@sfba.social @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org me too - it was someone annoyed at doctorow and they mentioned kagi too, but not finding much else - i really like it so hopeful it’s just noise

@mattblaze@federate.social @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I'm surprised the Nike missile site hasn't been bought by some tech bro for their bunker - I bet a few have tried. Also there's that entire, planned not built, town down at Tennessee valley too. I get the feeling that they are all itching to buy up the parks and coast

@thebaywindowgirl@toot.wales that reminds me of the TV Gulliver’s Travels with Ted Danson, the tiny sheep in the courtroom. Maybe a descendant ;)

@moongold@mastodon.social i love this, i love that people still add whimsy to the maps and make them unique.
the entire history of using deliberate mistakes, additions, omissions and these wonderful signatures to try and protect their IP is fascinating.
